My main complaint with the movie is they chickened out of how the reporter Ms Sunshine is in the stage show: she's a drag role, with a song that wasn't in this movie, and there's a big moment in the final court scene where Billy makes a point that 'things aren't always what they seem' and reveals Ms Sunshine's a guy
