Thanks for the watchalong, you two! Started my day off with some kino. I really enjoyed that musical. I swear, I recognized 90% of the songs but I don't think I watched this. Is it just that famous? I guess I do live in Chicago but we're better now I swear! Roxie was just straight up evil lol

Thanks for the fun watchalong! My main complaint with the movie is they chickened out of how the reporter Ms Sunshine is in the stage show: she's a drag role, with a song that wasn't in this movie, and there's a big moment in the final court scene where Billy makes a point that 'things aren't always what they seem' and reveals Ms Sunshine's a guy

As you pointed out story has no real justice and is very dark and satire in way this world is told. Here liars, greedy and murderers are winners. Thats chicago?
