I run my AC at 65, and outside it's usually around 100 degrees outside. Texas gets hot. I have had to fix my AC three times this summer. I have resorted to adding a window unit to my bedroom. $400 a month in the summer.

As a guy who works 12 hours a day for 14 days straight, 700 miles from home, I do end up eating out a lot when I'm off work. My gf works nights at a bar, so doesn't cook a ton, but I made my own mimosas this morning, so that's something. Also, steak.

I do IT, to be fair to that guy, MS365 can do domain/ email domain hosting & certain security software called EDR and MDMs, and maybe that's what he's paying for & consultants often have their own 365 tenant, but I doubt it.

New Zealand has low wages, high Cost of living, and extreme housing. Outside the cities is heading into the ghetto. Vast majority of small towns are retirement villages with poor no future kids.
