Heat Action can be wall, object, attack, everything, read the fine print of the skill section to do MAXIMAL damage. Rush don't have object attacks.

Doing this for your sake, every time you see flame icon top corner, that is heat move, press heavy attack. it has 0.5sec cooldown.
