The first time I watched CLANNAD was 10 years ago, and it was the first time an anime made me cry like a baby. An anime that portrays family bonds so beautifully is truly amazing — it's still a classic🌹🌹

Thanks for the watchalong Nerissa 🌻 Always like getting to do watchalongs with you, especially for things you really enjoy! It was indeed refreshing to have a "harem anime" be different and actually have depth to the characters and storylines. A lot of these also tend to either be too much about the ecchi or too much about the slice-of-life, so having this be big on the story and emotions, but also backing it up with some silly comedy was a treat I'll have to be vod gang for the rest of the watchalong tomorrow (I don't think "I want to watch anime with my oshi" will fly with my bosses at work), but I promise I'll watch it and let you know what I thought about it!

This show, like the other Key works such as Little Busters, Angel Beats and Kanon, made me run through a whole gamut of emotions, culminating in a good cry. So glad you're watching this Rissa, and in turn sharing it with many other viewers who might not have watched it. It's a masterpiece. Bit sad my timezone dictates I can't watch it with everyone but glad so many enjoyed it! 😊

I wanted to go on bike ride the farmers market, but i woke up late and found it was going to be raining all day. So this was honestly the best thing that could've happened today, thank you Nerissa 💐. Thank you for the stream!! I'm a Japanese otaku, but this was actually the first time I watched CLANNAD. I'm so glad I got to watch it with Rissa this time! It made me feel very lonely and sad, but it was also very interesting!

Thanks for the Clannad part 1 watchalong stream, Rissa! It was my first time watching Clannad! I only heard about it before from friends, so it was a blind run. After this whole watchalong, I feel very sad especially after the Fuko arc. I didn’t cry but felt the sadness. I love Fuko quite a lot as a character. Looking forward to part 2 of the watchalong!
