We are now a god of fashion. We know all this world's fashion, and can wear anything. But now a malaise sets in. Must we give up our godlike fashion powers, and move on to a new world, with new fashions, to feel the rush of new outfits again?

We accomplished a lot today—we caught the king of bountiful harvests, we became a doppelganger of our GF, and most difficult of all, we caught Cherubi. All in a day's work for a Pokemon champ! Sleep well, see you soon~

Imagine these villagers were struck by famine after this, and they're like "The one who took our harvest king was the gym leader Marnie from Spikemuth!" and we get our GF dragged before the Pokenational Criminal Court.

According to Bulbapedia, Calyrex's name might come from "calyx", which is Latin for bud, and "rex" for king. It would make sense since the JP name is "Budrex". And its giant head and long body look like a flower bud and stem.
