Start 10:23 OtsuGrounded! Thanks for the fun Grounded journey, Ruze! Glad everyone had fun! Thanks to Shinri for dropping by to pkay the Finale! Dropping by some Grounded streams was fun! Building Bloodcap Keep is definitely one of my fave parts in this series! Congrats on finishing the game! VOD Question: Fave Survival Game and why? Never played that many survival games, except Minecraft. So, Minecraft by default. I love building bases in survival mode and all that with my cousins back then. Good times.

Thank you for the stream, Ruze!! And great job beating the game with Shinri. I started watching your and Shinri's Minecraft and Grounded VODs two weeks ago, following both of your playlists, and I'm enjoying them immensely! Today, I learned a lot and loved watching how you guys strategized to build a fort and witness how it actually worked. That was really fun! Q: What's your favorite survival game and why? A: I only started gaming last year, so I haven't really tried a lot. Haven't been progressing much in Minecraft because I have yet to figure out how to play in pixels , and I only started playing Grounded last week, but the only game I played continuously last year was The Forest. I enjoyed the peaceful mode because there's a good number of things to explore, the controls were beginner-friendly, and I don't have to worry about the threats (cannibals and stuff) and just REALLY need to survive. It's a suitable game for casual players like me if I just want to relax and chill while building stuff lol. I still go back to it from time to time, but I might change my mind once I actually build something recognizable in Minecraft

Otsustars! Thank you for the epic finale to Grounded, one year in the making Vod question: I don't play survival games very much but I like to watch all of the ones you introduced here on the channel. The act of carving out a living out of nothing but sticks and stones at the start is really inspiring!

OTSUSTARS! Thank you for the stream and congrats on beating the game! It was fun following along for the journey towards the end! Onwards to Grounded 2! it is getting really close to early access! VOD question: I had to wreck my brain on what survival games I played and realised that I mostly play life-sim games... I did play like 20 mins of Minecraft but I cannot do keyboard and mouse controls. You got me to appreciate these games, eventhough they do overwhelm me a little. 3:17:49 - Kinda felt bad for snitching but.. I am glad you ran with it and it was all in good fun!

This was an adventure. I love seeing you thoroughly enjoy a game. I don't think I can pick a favourite survival game. Whatever I'm playing at that moment is my favourite. Right now, it's Grounded, but I always go back to Ark, Valheim and Minecraft. I like exploring, learning new techniques and trying out gamemodes and mods. I'm not very good at creative building, but I still enjoy it.

Man this was a wild ride, a whole year in the making! Thank you for the streams!! As for the vod question, I didn’t start playing survival games that much until recently so I don’t have much experience I played valheim with a twitch community I modded for and my call to fame was changing one letter on every sign until I was caught I played zomboid with a different community though and that was a lot if fun! I got entranced in organizing everything and then I got real good at fighting hordes once I stopped being scared of it lmao

OtsuRuze! OtsuShinri! The journey from start to end was super fun to watch! Ruze's struggle at drawing a cool S: 3:25:26 VOD Question: What's your favourite survival game and why? I've never really been into survival games before, but as someone who prefers a more chill and low-stress experience, I tend to enjoy games like Minecraft or Dinkum more than Don't Starve or Project Zomboïd. That said, I still find the latter fun– they're just a lot more stressful overall.

Vod Question: My favorite survival game is Minecraft, which yeah is basic, but also just holds too many memories for me for it to not be my favorite. I've been playing it for over ten years and still have not gotten bored and learn new things all the time, so that's pretty cool in my totally professional opinion. Also Terraria was pretty swag, but only when I would play with my older cousin because he would carry me and convince 6 year old me I was the greatest ever.

OTSUGROUNDED!!! had to be VOD gang for the last 3 hours because I needed to sleep, but it's hard to believe the journey is over, it's crazy that it's been an entire year. 3:33:55 I was saving my renewal message for this stream so I could use it to write something, idk, profound or something to say goodbye to Grounded, but the Cool S Detour just made me laugh so much LMFAO also thank god Shinri taught you the technique, it was painful watching you struggle through it the first time I'll write my profound-or-something goodbye here instead: I've really enjoyed the Grounded saga, sometimes cozy, sometimes chaotic, always fun to watch! this game has such a whimsical concept that I never got tired of it even after a year. I might be outing myself here bc I don't know if anyone else did this, but when you had your survey at the beginning of the year, I asked for more Grounded, so I'm thrilled we got to see it through to the end~ I'm also sad to say goodbye but at least Grounded 2 is right around the corner!!

Only caught the tail end of the stream, but just in time for the VOD question, so... Answer of VOD question: I was told Terraria doesn't count as a survival game, otherwise that would have been my answer, because it's such a fun game to play over and over with mods and building a colorful house for all the NPCs is really fun! But I guess I'll have no choose another, so now I'm debating between Minecraft and Don't Starve (Together). Been playing both of them with my husband and with friends. Minecraft is such a fun game to play with new mods every time. Especially with the Pixelmon mod, which makes the experience even more enjoyable for a Pokemon-enjoyer like myself Don't Starve is a very brutal survival game, but it's very satisfying when you actually survive the harsh freezing winter or burning hot summer, all while exploring further to find new stuff. I also like the cooking mechanic, because food is possible to make with subpar ingredients and doesn't necessarily require the good meats and veggies which can be very hard to get in harsh weather conditions. Thank you for the stream!

Re:Vod Question: What is your favorite survival game, and why?... I can't recall a survival game that I enjoyed more than No Man's Sky. It's mostly a sandbox, but this game can be relentless. (Which I refer to as "Space Minecraft".) As fun as Minecraft is, I enjoy Sci-Fi settings more. The game has gotten better each time I downloaded it. The last time I played... There was actual multiplayer (with missions and vendors), new ways to play (hardcore mode, creative, expeditions), a wider variety of ships to fly, freighters that now included interior base building, I crashed the economies (again), a bigger update to planets, more terrestrial base customization, not much to story (it was improved though). Overall, I completely fell in love with the game. Yes, it's mostly about exploration and discovery. There's also terrestrial and space combat. With varying degrees of weather, depending on your difficulty. Recourse scarcity on certain planets. Throw all that together on Hardcore or Expedition mode and you have a decent survival experience. ----------------------------- EDIT: Alright this might be a cheat answer, but I thought of it. The Division's "Survival" game mode. Which transforms the 3rd person tactical shooter into an extraction survival game with weather elements. You're dropped into a snowy environment with no equipment. You have to loot and stay warm to make it through. It's one of the few games/modes that I've enjoyed as a survival experience. If I there was a stand-alone game, like this (which there probably is), I'd recommend that.

My favorite survival game is a difficult one. I think it's Icarus...though I have a lot of complaints about it- i always find myself going back to it. Especially with the Prometheus (New Frontiers) dlc that added swamp and volcano areas with weird alien fauna/flora. It can be a bit frustrating at times, but also mindless and a little unforgiving in a way that I enjoy. It also is constantly receiving updates and new mechanics...though sometimes maybe too many (if it gets a little too serious about survival I do start to get exhausted by that). Valheim, the forest/forest 2, minecraft, and grounded all fall right after it though. Enshrouded and astroneer were also fun. I'm especially fond of survival horror, but similar to how you described here or in a recent stream the forest can very easily become not scary once it gets...predictable I suppose or especially if you play multiplayer.

OtsuStars~! Q: Favorite survival game? I don't think I have an answer for that, as I don't think I've played any survival games ^^; ...unless you wanna count old SNK fighting games, because I WAS THE ONE SURVIVING THOSE LAST BOSSES DAWG XD

thank you for the streaming and thank you for a long year of Gwounded! it was amazing I'm def not excited about cockroaches on the second game but it is what it is, ig.... VOD question: I just realized I've never played many survival games but I've played Minecraft for hours, for yeaaars... I love it so much and actually I'd love to play it again cause there have been like a million changes in these last years but I don't really have much time, unforch still it's always in my heart ~

My favorite survival game is real life, because I treat it like a game, I like being alive, and boy howdy, do you need to survive in it~ Jokes aside, I don't play a lotta survival games... But I enjoy the speculative biology of Subnautica!~ I might not play it, but I like reading wiki articles about the creatures at godless hours of the night!~ Who doesn't love readin' about a funky sea critter or two?~

Congratulations on your victory! I'm sure Zade will take very good care of the keep while you're gone. Vod Q: I don't usually like survival games. I love crafting in games and character creators so in theory i should like them but there is always a pvp element that immediately turns me off. I don't want to spend hours invested in building something beautiful to have some dickcheeses or random monsters than destroy it. I love exploration but hate when you die that you can lose all your shit and have to start from 0 all over again. If i invest 30 hours into something... anything.... I want something to show for it. It's the same thing that made me ragequit darkest dungeon1. I tend more towards rpgs where i can make my character and have choices that effect the story, lots of lore, and even better if there is romance. I like cozy games with crafting or cooking and even better if there is romance. I like roguelites like Cobalt Core, darkest dungeon2, cult of the lamb, and inscryption.

【💢What is your favorite Survival Game and why?】 Naming 3 games here because only one can be considered a pure survival game. 1- Rain World I nerded out about this in a previous VOD question but the game has such an immersive and cool ecosystem, that plays with your instincts a lot. I'm super impressed by the 2 devs!! It was also the first survival game I've ever genuinly played a TON! Though I believe it's more considered a platformer than a Survival game mostly. 2- DARKWOOD I never played this game myself but I watched a let's play and a bunch of story analysis on this one bc it fascinated me so much. Cruel world that plays with your senses and has a really interesting twist right at the end. Loved the characters and artstyle too. Can more than recommend this one, even if it's just checking it out for it's great writing!! 3- Fear & Hunger TERMINA Maybe you heard of this one before, but it's a Survival Horror Rogue Like RPG and it blew up the past few years. This is the 2nd entry in the series and it builds upon the first sooo well. You can chose your own protagonist out of many at the start and one thing I've always loved about it is that this game has a disabled wheelechair character called Olivia that in any other game would have a disadvantage. But in this one her disability actually benefits her as your body parts can be removed by your enemies and since she's already in a wheelechair she is a lot more mobile than her abled counterparts. The enemy design and story is also very abstract and fascinating to me. I played through the entire game in 2 days once so I can more than recommend it. But there are a lot of content warnings for this one too OTSURUZE
