3:47:34 In 2020 i was obsessed with Inscryption. I found Kronii's and Vox's play thrus and got used to the idea of vtubers. First one i followed was Hana Macchia, she was so funny it was crazy. I was also obsessed with Your Turn To Die (YTTD) and saw Axel's play through, became a Tempura! I saw Vanguard debut and thought shinwi would be my fave because his taste in games but now I'm stuck as a purple burd possibly forever

I missed most of the stream cuz I was with family but I will watch the vod later VOD question: I first found out about vtubers in 2020, I used to watch the Trash Taste podcast with Connor, Garnt and Joey a lot, and one of their firsts guests was Calliope Mori! I got really interested in her and went on to watch her and all of myth, she’s my first ever oshi! I found them at a really tough time of my life (and many others I’m sure, 2020 was wild) and myth and council were a huge source of comfort to me for many years 🥹 still love them a lot. And from there I’ve been collecting people to watch from many companies and indies, until I ended up here with the hakkitos, my one true home and found my kamioshi around mid to end of 2023 I really feel like it all was always meant any to bring me here with u all, LOVE HAKKA AND HAKKITOS!!!

I love the idea of you walking home from the shops with your pockets full of cream and strawberries the yule logs both looked so cute and so yummy!! you're genuinely so good at decorating things I really like how you want to try something and just go for it!! I got into vtubers when korones eekum bokum animation took over the whole world for a while!! I started to find some clips of her and lots of vtubers from all different companies and places but tempus was my first time watching a live debut and I thought they were all so fantastic!! so I stuck with holostars and the en girls too!! it's a wild to think it's been so many years since then...!!

Thank you for lovely Hakkmas! The cake was so cute I felt it would be a shame to eat it VOD question: I discovered Hololive at the 6th fes and fell in love with HololiveEN. I discovered Hakka through Liz, who I discovered through a hololiveEN concert. The song I collaborated with her on was amazing and is still my best Vtuber song. I can barely understand English, but I was able to listen to the songs and discover some great content. I'm grateful to Vtubers with amazing singing talent. Hakka is one of the people who has added color to my life.

Your roll cakes turned out really great, especially considering some of the limitations (not the cream though, you DEFINITElY have plenty of that xD) As for the VOD Q: I first encountered vtubers scrolling tiktok and coming across clips of Korone, but I didn't really get hooked until I saw the Holo Worms Tourney, and eventually stumbled across one of Shinri's minecraft streams live ;w; Before I realized it, I had stayed for the whole thing and from then on, it's history!

4:01:23 VOD Question of the day: How did you first encounter vtubers? When Kizuna Ai first debuted in 2016, nifabro introduced her to me. I was so intrigued by the idea of streaming with an anime avatar, without showing face, even rp-ing as the character herself. But I was a very stressed & busy junior doctor who didnt even have time to spend for herself, so I didnt continue watching her. Fast forward 2020, i was aware about vtubers esp corpo vtubers through my sis/bros, but i still didnt really watch them. like Hakka, I listened to their cover songs thinking that they're utaites/seiyuus. It wasn't until I watched a clip of Kanae giga-whaling pulling genshin impact gacha & found out they did a LOT of very good cover songs too, then only I became interested in vtubers. From there, I watched more vtuber contents, mostly cover/og songs & clips bcoz i was still studying master. That was my "casual vtubers watcher" era. After I graduated masters end of 2022, i got more free time, so slowly watched more clips and even lurked in vtubers im interested in. Slowly watch more Holostars JP contents (because they covered lots of songs I like very much) inevitably algorithm introduced my to Holostars English. There's this purple bird who caught my interest (and heart) because wtf is that vocal ranges and amazing screamos and banger original songs and covers?!! Checked him out, OMFG he so silly but so very genuine & kindhearted as well I cant help but wanting to root for him and support him. So, children, that is how I first encountered vtubers and then met your mother, no, i mean... met my kamioshi

VQOTD: First encounter with vtubers My first experience with vtubers in general was seeing a clip compilation of Inugami Korone's first Metal Slug stream back in like 2020. At another later date, I noticed clips of Vtubers floating around here on YT. (It could have been 2020 or 2021.) I wasn’t interested in them since they seemed popular. When I did start watching VTubers though, it was mainly through clips.
