Vod question: Idk how much of a niche interest this is, but one of the things I’m most passionate about is playing instruments! Over the years, I’ve learned how to play the piano, flute, acoustic guitar, and cello, and each of them has lead to so many awesome and funny experiences that I love yapping about lol. Growing up, one of my dreams was to join an orchestra that plays scores for movies, games, and anime :3

welcome back and ty for the latte! here’s to your health journey!! you got this o7 VOD QOTD: i have a bit too many because i love deep diving into new niches and fandoms that interest me, but!! top 3 that i could yap about forever would probably be fashion, BL & designing merch (i end up joining a ton of zines or making merch for myself because i have so many i wanna make lol) ❤ and, in general, i guess i really enjoy learning about how things work and can come into being/see the what improvements have happened over time, so i have a collection of a bunch of art & fashion books (some with written commentary), blu-rays of movies/shows that have behind-the-scenes features and notes on all types of merch/manufactured goods!

Answer to the Vod question: for me my niche hyperfixation that I could yap for 20 hours literally would be emotional wellness, and academic support. So like a variety of ways to help students overcome college with the obstacles that come up, plus things that can help them become career ready. Its what I do as a job now, but I have so much knowledge about it from time management hacks to making yourself marketable, etc. Plus that ties in with my knowledge of emotional wellbeing since ive gone to many workshops, gathered resources, talked to other offices, watched lectures, etc. I really like to help students since there's a lot of stress and illness that can start then so wanting to give them tools to be able to start figuring out how to take better care of themselves and also grow in a healthy way and even boundaries. Etc. Etc. Always been a towns folk hero at heart so I find a lot of enjoyment getting to help people and also helping my students or any students really and also getting to talk about wellness to chat. Another one I could go hours on is event planning, it all began since I really wanted an Alice and Wonderland tea party event when I was a wee lass, lol but then by college our anime club asked if I could sub in an event - back then I was an introvert mostly, but I was like yep I can help! And then went to work on doing a RWBY discussion panel, classic me, an introvert who did extroverted things. But it was cool, and then I went on to cons all around my area for 10-11 years doing all kinds of panels from game shows, to 101s tutorials, mystery shows, etc. Turning ideas into a physical concept or room style presentation has always been epic. I always made sure the audience was always first in my mind, because its not about me, but the experience they'd leave with! So that was awesome, plus I really enjoyed going to anime cons to just panels. I consider myself retired- but this one con i used to panel for all 11 years was like we need you again, these kids dont know what theyre doing LOL so maybe I go present a panel to teach them how. I did do a stream a while back about it to see if I could fit it in panel format but went on for hours oop- so at something I'll cut it and present it. But yeah those are my two biggest, Anime conventions paneling (plus event planning) and Student wellness and health.

I wish you well on your health journey. It's so hard to get on it and so easy to fall out of it. Every step counts as long as you make it a step that you'll keep taking. VOD Question: This is a hard question, because I'm more the type of person to just randomly fall into niches and learn about them rather than have one themselves. But if we wanna talk EXTREMELY niche, I could probably yap for hours about Hetalia...but specifically the Hetalia fangame community. Which yes, is an entire subsection of the fandom next to artists and writers. To this day, I've yet to see another anime fandom that express their fanwork creativity solely through RPG Maker, and I'm kind of sad it might never happen again.

OtsuRuze, always happy to hear you yappin' about anything Q: I guess I could yap about either Chrono Trigger or Yu Yu Hakusho. CT I finished many times, got all the endings, leveled everyone to LV99, I know this game like the back of my hand so much that I can only play the SNES version with the original Ted Woolsey translation, I don't care if the DS version has more content, SNES is still the best version and lost a lot of time in Chrono Compendium reading articles and theories and etc. And YYH, while not my favorite manga/anime, still prolly one I know a lot about to the point I can probably name every single character no matter how little screentime they had, Kurama is my favorite character ever, and Yusuke is still one of my favorite protagonists cause he's a cheeky little bastard like someone I know with a heart of gold and does things his own way no matter unusual they are lol

thanks for the stream, and the thing I can yap about most is warhammer! I don't know *everything* (at this point I think it's nearly impossible to get to that level but man I'm trying to absorb as much as I can). I especially love the Inquisition and it's factions thanks to my love of Dark Heresy (2nd edition). I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW DARK HERESY GAME TO COME OUT. I've spent probably the better part of 10 years making homebrew content for the DH2E system, playing in it, and just learning all the different ways to be an acolyte of the inquisition. It's such a refreshing way to view the universe that isn't just space marine space marine space marine like normal.

Morning Lattes are always a joy VOD Question: I have a number of hyperfixations, but I think the absolute biggest one for me that it's hard to find people to talk about with (at least irl) is the VOCALOID subculture, and the actual synth engines themselves in particular. I've made it a goal to try as many engines as possible, and I could geek out about how they work and their unique features, workflow, and the way that individual voicebanks interact with the engines for _hours,_ especially when it comes to the older ones. I recently tried the original VOCALOID (specifically V1 KAITO) for the first time after wanting to for years, and it was just as fun as I'd hoped it would be. I'll stop there so I don't end up writing an essay, but I would also like to take a moment to say if you ever need Matsune Hiku audio, I could actually help with that because I have Miku's V2 and know how to make her speak English.

OK,now my answer to the VOD question of the stream: I would go on and on about tokusatsu for hours and maybe Pokemon and Monster Hunter as well but tokusatsu would be my main topic to chat about, I could tell you about Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Metal Heroes and also some indie tokusatsu projects as well as tokusatsu shows outside of Japan.

What hyper fixation could I talk about.. without stopping myself. There are plenty of subjects I've picked up over the years. Nerd-wise; Armored Core games, Dragon Ball, Pokémon games and FPS games - specifically strategy and build crafting. Not necessarily niche, but it's as good as it gets from me.
