Mint's weakness seems to be puzzles where the solution is "just walk through the portal".

Mint solving the first chamber the unintended way reminds me of that one vent from Portal 1: Where you're supposed to use the rocket bot to destroy a pipe to get a cube for climbing into the vent, but many people ended up grabbing a chair from a nearby office instead

Quick side tangent, I've NEVER seen someone solve that chamber the way you did. But there's a reason why this game is beloved. There are no "right" answers! And the way you said goodbye to Wheatley here ( 11:44 ) is like a stereotypical Southern Belle. So cute. But back to lorekeeping! ( 22:37 ) So there is no answer to this. GladOS isn't a reliable source. She has no incentive to tell the truth, and frequently lies to Chell for amusement. Think AM from "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream". But it doesn't mean she always IS lying. Aperture Science is confirmed to be in the US, specifically Michigan, but within the lore of Half Life, North and South America were obliterated by the Combine. The continents themselves still exist, but any form of civilization doesn't. Which is why there are so many American characters in Half Life 2 despite the European setting. Besides the dev reasons.(I KNOW the dev reasons, but they're not relevant right now. Don't "correct" me in the comments I don't car🚙). They're the survivors who fled. So it's not likely that there *are* any humans on the surface, based on the lore we know. But the argument in defense of GladOS is that the game opens with an unbelievably long period of time having passed between the ending of Portal 1 and the beginning of 2. You could argue that, since it has been so long, humans *could* have returned to the Americas, or maybe there are no humans remaining at all. It's ultimately up to you. ( 46:49 ) This is an easy example of GladOS not being a reliable source. There's a theory that Chell is the daughter of two characters introduced later on. I won't humor it. I'm not a believer. However. I do believe one, if not both, of Chell's parents was an employee at Aperture Science. Later on in the game, you come across abandoned science fair projects to which Wheatley explains, the day GladOS became conscious and released neurotoxin was also Bring Your Daughter to Work Day. The very last display you see before exiting the room, if you look closely, has "By: Chell" written on it. So she is at the very least confirmed to be a child of an employee. So it is impossible for GladOS to have BOTH parents since there were no survivors of her awakening. Besides Doug Rattmann. But that is not relevant right now. So she could realistically only have one. A really cool piece of trivia too! Back in the day, Valve released a potato battery kit that let you recreate what you see in ~part 5 of your Let's Play, and part of the kit included a mini tri-board high-res print of Chell's science fair project. It's lowk a grail item of mine, right next to the official Portal Gun replica. Both are very hard to come by and very expensive. But that's all to lore keep today! Your playhthrough is so fun to watch. It's so fun watching you solve these all on your own. Especially if your solutions are "unconventional". You were also super cute at the end.
