I was surprised when y'all did so well on the final boss, Lamar and I had run the final as a duo the night before and it took us so long and so many Phoenix Downs The game did have a pretty emotional ending so I can see why you wanted to end stream there And like you said, if you really want to, can always off-stream the post-game content. I had never really check out the game before, so this was a really good chance to try it out, it was a really nice game and I had a ton of fun playing with you and other Novelites, even did some post-game dungeon runs after stream Thanks for showing me the game

Congrats on reaching the end of the series, Shiori! The haunting good music will be put to bed, but it was a lovely thing to listen to for the times we had it. Just a calming yet melancholic chime going off time and again. The music is different but brings back memories of Legend of Mana. They remastered it for the Switch, so you can look into it if you'd like as well. Doc and I spent two hours fighting the final boss the night before your stream, so am glad you didn't get jumped and cleared it in half the time. Doing it alone took me an hour and a half. Found out even in multiplayer if you go down that it let you continue right at the phase you went down in so us failing two times against the third phase didn't make us cry at the very least. Doc definitely needs a doctor, you're right. He's super reckless, haha! New Brawl lore is that he's the Smash Balls that we find since he vanished into a bunch of bawls on his way out when he disconnected because of his internet. His true form was revealed at long last after all these years. May you have fun with Gurdy in his amnesia. No worries about the energy today too. Honestly speaking you have to get it out and venting or being bratty is absolutely fine. We can tank it plus it wasn't even bad, which is to be expected given you never are. And the flower is still really good on the hat! Might not perfectly match the night dress as is, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's bad or anything like that. May your yapping cool down be as long as you desire to make up for how much you do. Am glad that we don't bully you, especially with how nice you are all the time. Or most of the time as you coined it today, haha! Is so funny that our mother in this game forced us to like corn and then we forced ourselves to dislike it after it got taken by the bandits for meat and fish. For some lore, the mayor stops talking the year after he mentioned the princess would take his memories to turn into crystals. And as we mentioned too for the Striped Bandits, the old man dies protecting the young one. We offer them to live with us, but they decide to stay bandits until they die to embody the true Selkie way of living. Also, we can bump into Hurdy as a priest preaching in towns while Gurdy happens, so I assume he's lost his memories and swaps off and on when he wakes up some nights and days as one or the other. The princess herself did give a nice paycheck for bringing her back home too of 100,000 Gil so I finally caught up with you in money after the game. Gurdy and the Black Knight both showed the hollowness of losing their memories, with the Black Knight prowling until he perished hunting them down and Gurdy just lying to fill the void and scamming everyone he could see. Interesting to spot the resemblances that would carry over to Kingdom Hearts and doors after the ending lore dump here with Mio and Raem. I think it makes for a lovely stopping point. It was a fun series and made even better by being able to play it with others this time. A culmination of our journey and memories for a lovely end to the diary. It's a simple but beautiful thing for us balancing the happy and sad times just like the character themselves do. May you enjoy the Chattini you got to eat and take it easy. What an adventure this has been. Getting to experience this game with you and everyone else has been such a treat. I never played it as a kid, so watching your playthrough really made me realize how much I missed out on. Made me very nostalgic. Thank You! On another note I really love spending time here and there’s no other place I’d rather be. No matter what you decide to do or play next, I’ll be there!

And so comes the end of our journey through this Final Fantasy of the Crystal Chronicles. Congrats on finally seeing this game through to the end, Shiori! The final chapter of a decade's journey with this game finally coming to a close. It was fun coming along with you on this journey of intertwining old memories from your childhood with this game and the making of new memories with the Novelites. It was nice seeing you reminisce and talk about your old experiences with this game as well as seeing you react to the things you never got to experience in your original playthrough of the game. This game was a lot of fun to watch and I imagine that your playthrough brought a lot of attention to this game that it has not had in probably a very long time. I know that this is the first time I've ever seen this game, but it does look like a very charming and fun game, especially when playing with others. It was a very nice experience going into this without any idea of what was going to happen. I find it really interesting how the game starts off as this whimsical and fantastical adventure across the land to collect Myrrh, with hints of something dark underneath, makes a dramatic turn at the final dungeon. The shift from a standard fantasy fare to all of sudden fighting an eldritch abomination from the stars is a twist I didn't really see coming, and the fact that it is responsible for the miasma is an interesting twist on top of that. If I'm not mistaken the Meteor Parasite was also responsible for the creation of Mio and Raem, which further drove the world into turmoil because of Raem's interference causing people to lose their memories and those memories in turn creating monsters that made more bad memories for it to feed on. I really like both of Raem's boss designs, it just feels so alien and ethereal, which feels appropriate for a malicious being made from fragmented memories. I kind of wonder if Raem and Mio's combined form is what they looked like originally before the Meteor Parasite destroyed the original crystal. The introduction of these story elements really elevated the story quite a lot and made things much more tense and exciting. I wish that they sprinkled Mio, Raem, and the Meteor Parasite's story a little more throughout the progression of the story, instead of mostly backloading it. Having hints here and there throughout, as opposed to a couple of inexplicable appearances from Mio and mentions of Raem without a real explanation, would have definitely improved the overall story. Not that the story was bad, but just that the ending portion clashed with the vibe of the rest of the tale, and I''m sure there could have been a organic way of bread crumbing the twist for the player till they get to the final dungeon. Overall the story was a fantastic ride and I enjoyed every bit of it that we got. The final journal entry accompanied by the book closing and the musical score was a very beautiful way to end the story, and this stream, so your reaction to it was very understandable. It had a sense of fulfilling finality to it, like a well traveled journey that has reached its final destination and the greatest treasure we could get from it was the memories we created getting to this point. This game truly feels like an underappreciated gem. It's always amusing how surprised you are when reflecting on how nice chat is to you. How a creator carries themselves always has an impact on the kinds of people they gather. You are a very kind, whimsical, and sweet person who tries to influence others in a positive and supportive way, so naturally there are people who come to you who reflect that and will try to emulate that kindness. You inspire others to be so nice and kind simply by just being yourself. In the end, pretty much everyone who gets to know you even a little bit wants you to prosper and be happy. Thank you for such a comfy and highly entertaining playthrough. Though I am sad to see this series end, I am glad that I got to experience it in the end. It will be among my most fondly remembered series. I wish you the best of luck on any remaining offscreen work you have left.
