Verso’s axon (visage) is weak to fire, for obvious reason…

Everyone thinks Verso is a good ending (and so do I), but I also empathized with Maelle's ending. She's been living in the painting for 16 years, just like in real life. If real life was painful, she would have wanted to make a happier choice.

To me, it's always the shortest lines that hit me right in the feels the most. Like Gustave's "I'm here" during the prologue, and Verso's "You're okay". Man... how can they pack such a strong emotion in such a short dialogue?

Incredible game. It is so bleak and full of grief and pain everywhere and even then, they get us to care and have hope for the characters well being. And they give us not happy endings, but ones that make sense.

Ever since Act 2 ends, Maelle is already gone to me. She's Alicia in Act 3, so her desire is hard for me to agree with. She's walking the same footsteps as her mom. Renoir was right "Life forces cruel choices." she needs to let her Fantasy go....

Speaking of the OST, There is one piece of music I recommend you listen to in your spare time. There is a version of Until Next Life where it's a duet between the main singer of the game and Verso's VA. It's very beautiful.

The E33 OST has two songs called 'Alicia' and 'Maelle'. They are the same song but one is sung in an Occitan Medieval/Latin language mix to avoid spoilers and the other one you're hearing now is in French for Maelle's ending.

If I had a nickle for every role Ben Starr had where he has "please let me die" energy I would have two which isn't alot but it does make me worry for his role in the dating game he's in:LAUGH:

Your playthrough is the only experience I have with this game, and I found it very difficult to understand after the flurry of plot twists and reveals. With MUCH help, I think I finally comprehend what E33 is about. Congrats!
