If you like Twin Peaks, you should consider asking for perms to play a game called Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut. The creator claims he's never seen Twin Peaks, but the game is basically Twin Peaks in all but name. It's weird and janky, yet has an immense amount of charm. Don't expect a masterpiece or anything, mind you, it's more of a "so bad it's good" experience. You'd want to play the PS3 version, though, as the PC port has a lot of problems.

Twin Peaks was made in 1990 so it's not an 80s show. Is it old? I don't know anymore. The standard for old seems to change all the time and largely depends on who you ask. Some say 10 years is old. Some say 20 is old. Even the term antique is under fire. It means something over 100 years old but some people are trying to lower it to 50. But since it was made in 1990,about 35 years ago,I'd say the only people who would be offended at it being called old are over 35 themselves. So it's an old show,but the good stuff never really gets old,does it. Mozart's music is hundreds of years old and people still love it. Beethoven,Bach. Dead for hundreds of years and it's like they wrote their stuff yesterday. People still love Shakespeare. So yeah,it messes with your perception of time. So don't think about it too much and just enjoy what's good.
