never watched one of your streams before, but outer wilds is my favorite game in the universe, so i figured i'd stop by and tune in for a while. the way you play this game is completely unlike anyone else i've seen, but that's not a bad thing at all; actually, over the course of these 7 hours, i found myself growing really enraptured and charmed by your playstyle. it was a fantastic pleasure getting to see you land on and enter the sun station within your first 7 hours of the game, something that a huge percentage of players never end up doing at all. believe me when i say i never doubted for a second that you'd get it in the end! i'll be back next week for more 😎 thanks for a great time!

Thanks for the legendary stream, Bettel! Congratulations on a feat few accomplish!! As a huge fan of this game, this has been very entertaining and interesting so far! While it's clear that your brain takes you on non-traditional paths, the beauty of this game is you're making progress and learning how it all works anyway! If you've enjoyed your time so far, I think this could be a special playthrough indeed. 💜 I was impressed by how well-behaved (or well-moderated) the chat was! I believe you can go the distance with this if you're motivated to! Vesper loved this game and Magni didn't like it at first but later got hooked. One small step for alienkind and a large one for our jester! All systems functional and ready to go, set the autopilot directly for the sun! Sally forth! That was a stream for the ages, while I had to eventually step away for work and have just concluded watching this VOD it was one of the most enrapturing journeys I've ever seen! I was hooked from the minute it began until the very end, something about traveling through the vastness of the universe with nothing but your ship and suit scratches the brain. Though I can stick that up to generally being an avid enjoyer of the stars and beyond. Your playstyle is so unconventional in a very positive sense, while it was off the record and removed from any linear pathing or tutorials the game taught you what you needed to know as you progressed and you grasped the details! Herein lies the beauty to me, you can go the mile however you'd like - there's no wrong way to approach any of it and it turned out to be super entertaining as the stream went on! Many of the deaths had me laughing really bad, whether you were hit in the rear by comets, flew too close to the sun, were launched into the air and drowned or all the jumps into the Black Hole. Story-wise I was intrigued by the setting of the main character being the first astronaut to be given a Nomai translation device in order to uncover the hidden secrets left behind by this tribe. From crashing the practice vehicle, frying marshmallows to the point it became inedible, making full force contact with a comet and getting ejected before picking up the pieces to inspect a lonesome planet inhabited by enormous monster fish - there was a lot to discover out there. Then a case of seatbelt safety occured when Giant's Deep called upon its tornadoes. Fly with Air Bettel and you may also encounter these sort of wonders! There's no better way to fly. Inside the caverns, epitaphs and drawings on the walls with messages left behind by the Nomai. They spoke of an orbital probe cannon and ways to reach the deeper parts via diving. We also learned of the Twin Ash Porject and the fact that the statues we've encountered thus are able to store memories. Would that explain what Gabbro told us, that this is a perpetual time loop? And the MC and them are the only ones perceiving it? Or is there more to it than meets the eye... With the cannon sustaining damage after a random trajectory was set, it was put on indefinite hiatus. Was there a way to fix it? We meet Chert, make landing on Colorado Planet and also explore the Tower of Quantum Knowledge. Ribeck inside Brittle's Hollow spoke of an observatory as well as the Hanging City and there was texts recording escape pods being launched. Makes you wonder what befell those travelers and what the Eye of the Universe exactly entails. An unfortunate landing in a tree later, we discovered the true objective of this mission: The station orbiting the sun. Toasted, roasted and burnt to a crisp in the attempts that followed, the sun casting fireball would not deter our jester. He's not a quitter, he's a man with a mission! Swear-singing at it, contracting sun madness and picking bones with dev Jeffrey (who was incredibly funny to see in chat, also the coolest for stopping by and being so supportive!) eventually showed the proof was in the pudding. Each and every new attempt at steering the spaceship closer had me on the edge of my seat, some of these were incredibly beautiful! Owner of the R-Trus and ace pilot of Guild Tempus Machina X Flayon would be proud of you. o7 And finally, at 07:06:45 we had the magical moment! You've gone and done it again, you absolute madman! Made it into the sun station and obliterated the sun! Pulverized it even! That's our jester! Interesting that the logs would reveal a plot to create a supernova in order for the universe to end, basically. Although the station fired, the sun barely responded with the smallest surface level readings. When discovering that the inevitable death of the universe was imminent, did that indicate it would return to whence it came and be born again in circles? Either way, what an ending. Kissing the statue goodbye, telling Mamagoose it was all over before everything went up into nothingness. The sun goes down and he felt the light betray him (Linkin Park lyrics again, I cannot be stopped). Cinema. Thank you for taking us along for the ride, this stream had me so glued to the screen that I actually ended up buying the game + DLC for myself on the Switch!
