I've struggled with that kind of thinking as well, what's the point of existing, especially in the future when my parents are gone. I know I'm more likely to be the one to run away from the responsibility of living than you, but when you say things like you aren't expecting to live past a year it does make me feel a bit uneasy, even as a joke. Even though you've been saying "I want to kill myself" a lot recently, talking about dying like that is really starting to get concerning... So please, keep yourself safe and try not to stress too much about life, because like you said, we should exist to enjoy the short time we have on this Earth.
