To me, Sasuke n Zuko's refusal to get better was a pretty realistic portrayal, because ppl dont simply just get better. They relapse, they fumble, and they go back to their safe space where they know they wont be hurt again. Ofc there r strong willed characters who can just get over it, but realistically speaking, most ppl cant, despite having external support. Sasuke had his frds, Zuko had his uncle, but they both brushed them aside and ran away, thats realistic. Them directing their hatred n frustration towards some external goal, thinking it will solve all their problems, is realistic. Them turning trauma n depression into obsession to cope w their lives, is realistic. Them rejecting love as a defense mechanism because they got burned by someone they loved the most, is realistic. The list goes on n on. Tho I will admit, how things went towards the end for Sasuke was pretty bad n rushed......

Suggestion: if you ever plan to implement a bar similar to the happy/mad reaction bars, log scale might be worth trying because it (1) can more easily show whether anyone reacted with happy/mad and (2) can have a large "max" count in case a lottt of people react a certain way
