I'm still getting thru the vod but I wanna get my thoughts out about Vetruvius 2 Season 2. I really want more Vetruvius, truly, but I do think the "these people look like my friends but they don't recognize me :(((" thing is a Bit like overplayed and honestly I really wanna see something more than just a basic isekai plot because I know you're capable of driving a really compelling story. Considering you don't want to try to be a main character this time, you could still play Vetruvius just maybe as more of a lowkey old man with depression because he's outlived his friends, being a wizard, rather than in an isekai. My suggestion is something like a mana sickness or withdrawal from quitting magic for however many decades. Since it's not really heard of for a wizard to abandon magic and settle down to grow old and complacent, the mana sickness isn't really documented so Vetruvius having to face that without his friends at first then learning to trust people enough again to potentially help him reconcile with the magic that is so traumatizing could make for a good story. And it would mirror the bit with him facing lightning magic with Kalvin, but instead of his father's hand, it's his own that weighs on his shoulder every time he casts a spell but he Needs to continue using magic in order to combat the mana sickness. Maybe having over 2000 mana as a wizard makes you really susceptible to this mana sickness like being on a high dose of wizard and suddenly stopping entirely and you get "zaps" and everything its awful and Compelling! Really excited for season 2 however you go about it! I love Vetruvius no matter what I hope he never grows up.
