Thanks for the stream mint!!! This game is... Weird on horror. On one hand you get scene like the school or what we've seen today which is gruesome which are terrifying. But on the other hand the game put a big emphasis on combat, which always seemed to me like the antithesis of horror (if you can fight back it's less scary, at least that's how i view it). And that yeti arm was kinda goofy after the horrible intro cinematic (hinako unleashed, i was ready to see the sonic unleashed qte pop up)

I was initially just gonna make a comment about what Mint said at the start of the stream regarding the game and agreeing with her. However, as the plot made a grand twist for tje bizarre I couldn't not mention it.

Going back to horror game discussions at the beginning part of the stream, the remake of the first Resident Evil is pretty atmospheric (as long as you don't mind tank controls and fixed camera). Also, have you heard of the Siren games or Kuon? Those games are dripping with terrifying atmosphere but they are hard to get (I also find the Siren games anxiety-inducing). All that said, thank you for a fun and spooky afternoon stream! Sad we can't bring the yaoi yeti arm into the real world, huh? Best weapon by far!

i think with horror games with action elements, it can be a hard line to walk to balance it properly, and even just watching you play it seems like this game has maybe a bit too many enemies for its own good. the story is interesting but when it gets spaced out too much by the amount of encounters it does lose a bit of its impact. i think a horror game could be on the longer side if it manages to keep the tension and suspense going, but it is definitely a challenge and shorter games tend to benefit from only needing to keep the player on edge for a few hours

i do think the game could be much better if there's a feasible way to avoid the enemies while chasing your objectives, it would preserve the tension instead of forcing you to win against the things you're supposed to be scared of. But on the other hand, i can see the creepiness of the mannequin movements is best viewed from the front when it's chasing you

Thanks for the stream Minto. I was listening to your thoughts about the game and I was remembering someone else telling me how by the end of the game Hinako kinda became an action heroine... I have to say I was NOT expecting her to turn into furry Nero. I was kind of expecting this sort of stuff way at the end of NG+, now I'm really curious how far this goes.
