"What if you miss?" "I won't." And that line perfectly sums up this twin collab marathon session, absolute cinema from start to finish! Fueled by the first sip of coffee of the day, our jester could Crazy Frog the challenge ahead and Twobert's bass boosted euphoria could not be beat either! Nothing like twin shenanigans right off the bat, sending a few dozen requests to join co-op mode with silly scuff filling the minutes inbetween. The plot picks up from Halo 1 where we learn that the enormous ring structures were built as weapons of last resort containing a parasite and that activating these rings will lead to the destruction of all sentient life. Interesting that the opening has an Elite on trial for his failure to stop Halo's destruction, yet is offered the position of Arbiter under the watchful eye of the High Prophets Truth, Mercy and Regret. And Master Chief gears up, becoming ever the greater soldier! The beginning of the game went by so fast, in the spare of under an hour it felt like more than a few campaigns went by. By the time you reached the Outskirts campaig, chaos reigned supreme as you rode a car catching on fire that then flew off, leading to death. Didn't stop there, once the Warthog was within your grasp, a whole disco inferno burned bright as the vehicle set off on a ramp, rolled over killing the both of you. Incredible comedic timing with the phenomenal music picking up in just that moment. New Warthog acquired spelled more crimes to commit, Twobert running Betsy right on over like a pancake was hilarious to watch before you arrived in Metropolis. Taking place in New Mombasa, this new mission saw a battle across a long bridge guarded by Covenant and a shorter tunnel. Scorpion tank mayhem ensued, followed by a lock on shot of an innocent soldier who blew up instantly. My guy went "Boom" faster than a well placed bomb. o7 No less funny was the furious keyboard and mouse smashing during the friendly fire after emerging from the tank in the underground highway/tunnel. Sibling banter at its finest! Switching point of view from Master Chief to the Arbiter, on a task to assassinate the Heretic Leader. Implementing another playable character from the opposing side brings in a look from a different perspective and offers delving deeper into the story, ya gotta love that approach! Aside from the entire soundtrack being a masterpiece, it was a delight being able to hear Incubus during this part of the game when you had mentioned it just the other day! The fall when your ride explodes sure is long... Spectating Twobert flying the Banshee before moving onto The Oracle, where the all too familiar Flood greeted us. Beautiful faded out scream as your brother's sword flew, accompanied by the BGM it was beyond goofy. Not to mention the sounds those weapons make... On that note, sending Mamagoose some love; hopefully she is alright and not experiencing any more scary scenarios like when Anime Impulse happened. Back to the game, getting hit by debris and meeting your untimely end with Bettel 2 following was almost poetic. Pizza ordering turned adventurous, meanwhile Delta Halo had Master Chief fight through Covenant forces to reach the temple where the Prophet of Regret resides. I swear, each death was somehow funnier than the next - there is something beautiful in launching into the sky flying and then perishing on a rock, having banger music play while your tank topples over or an enemy that T-poses to assert dominance. Jumped for the beef and paid the price, gondolas now took us across underwater elevators and through various twmple corridors in the ninth campaign of the game. Walking in front of Twobert when he threw a grenade was peak sillyness, same for the boss battle against Prophet Regret but you beat him fair and square! He may regret having challenged you now. For Sacred Icon, we return as Arbiter to make way through a wall filled with Sentinels and Flood to defend an encampment. Pizza party was on by that point, even pigeons found joy in that! The newer graphics were quite astounding, a real touch up from the old ones although it makes sense that the original ones have both a more complete and nostalgic feel to them. Following up on the end of the previous campaign, Thel 'Vadamee had to fight his way to reach the Library's Index Chamber. The OST went fire here, the guitar riff was crazy! Twin telepathy didn't disappoint when the Warthog plummeted down the cliff, activating synchronized screaming. Securing the Index revealed betrayal by Tartarus before introducing Gravemind who is one mighty fella, the design in the new graphics was terrifying in a good way. Hearing Breaking Benjamin play during the Gravemind stage was epic, even more so in lieu of Truth's ruthless actions towards Mercy. Then came Uprising and High Charity, the penultimate mission. From what you guys talked about, Halo lore appears to be all over the place. Often the case with video games, sadly. And you end up scrambling about to piece it all together because it's weirdly detached from one another. The Great Journey was such a sight to behold as the grans finale of the game, with that unexpected alliance forming! Being new to the Halo series, I was wheezing so bad seeing the Banshee get forced through the level to use in the fight against Tartarus. Aforementioned Tartarsauce standing the pillar unmoving was hysterical, like he simply accepted his fate of the game breaking force that the Bettel twins eminated. Beat him fair and square in the end, making you clear the game! Congrats on finishing the game, you two! It was a magical journey, the story of the second game certainly is more well put together than the first one and offers deeper insights into the lore and expanding the universe. Thank you so much for the stream today, had a blast! Looking forward to when Halo 3 makes its way onto the schedule to continue the series, for now I hope the both of you enjoy the rest of your day and that Betsy has a lovely day off! 💙

I got an ad break at 1:23:47 and let me tell you that ad’s timing was actually the funniest part of the video. Thanks for diving into the all-time classic FPS that made my childhood (and yours). Edited to add I love Bettel 2 constantly saying “Oh sh*t!” at every combat encounter.

Thank you for the fun stream Mister chief 1 and Mister chief 2! I can see why you like this game so much Master chief looks great in this one. Also, first time I learnt that something as simple as switching between new and old graphics can be comedic, it's like you say, timing is everything for comedy. Also give the Bettels a vehicle and it's comedy gold Much love to you both, looking forward to the next one! Take care
