Well i mean, in Daima, Toei/Akira changed it into so that "they're demons, from the demon realm". So to summarize, they're still slug people, and also "demons", as in from the demonic realm.

I say this as someone who's still mostly new to romance fiction. Vegeta and Bulma's relationships is one of the more wild bond-building experiences I've witnessed. It reminds me of Geralt & Yennefer's back and forth from The Witcher, but somehow more extreme (and almost toxic?). I doubt it's healthy, but it's pretty funny seeing Vegeta getting humbled by someone who can talk back. It's also a nice show of character for Bulma. I do know their dynamic gets healthier over time, it's just crazy seeing how it starts out.

Ill say it again, how was goku supposed to know freiza would survive being cut in half and exploding with a planet, much less survive in space with nothing holding his blood or organs in.

16 is the goat.. the anime did him justice. also cali on your own time you should play trunks dlc is basically his side of things in the arc and the origin of the android threats. it also explores his ties to gohan. i recommend you try post buu saga. theres also a dlc explaining the earlier rivalry of goku and piccolo.

Glad you really like one of my favorite characters, Future Trunks! He actually has an OVA made about his future timeline which would be perfect for a watchalong. Also, while the anime might be a bit high of a time commitment, the manga is a great way to get into it since you can read at your own pace and the art is fantastic. Definitely would recommend before getting into any of the newer stuff.
