Didnt expect to enjoy the DLC this much, it may be just a "spin off" to us, but its so interesting geting to see how the setting creates these unique relationships, Gohan mentoring Trunks, Bulma never geting to se the best side of Vegeta, its so cool and tragic, and even if we know Trunks will win, the payoff of the final fight felt so cathartic, Man i love AUs lol. I'm happy you enjoyed the first part of Future Trunk's story as much as most fans did going through it! If you liked it I really do recommend seeing the anime versions of scenes. Plural of versions because the dub versions of the anime special/episodes going over Mirai Trunks story had different soundtracks which I turn did effect the feel of scenes. The EN had more or a rock inspired soundtrack and the JP/other dubs had not as rock inspired sound. It has been way to long since I listened to the og score so I can't describe it accurately, but personally I prefer the og version because of how they handled Trunks finding Gohan's body. About GT and Super; while trying to avoid spoilers for you: GT: Had one of the best endings themes and final scenes to DB franchise imo. However it felt really unsatisfying until the final arc. Unsatisfying because for a majority of the series until the final arcs the viewer gets limited to seeing a small cast of characters for reasons. Super: Cool ideas and large cast of characters but it felt like it dragged in some aareas or episodes/arcs. I never got to finish it, but I did make it a point to see the continuation of Future Trunk's story from Super. For you a added bonus is Super has more Piccolo from what I remember anyways. Both are good in there own ways, but for me personally, Super had more elements that I enjoyed. Even if I watch GT's finale every few years for a good cry and reminisce.
