I think it was random clips that made me start watching you, and I love seeing this game get attention. Of the few Souls-like games I've played, this is definitely my favorite—enough for me to get all the achievements, though it has some problems and annoyances. One thing I love is how you avoid talking over the cutscenes and let the game breathe and speak for itself—so much so that you leave the screen sometimes. It takes me back to when Let's Plays were common and streaming wasn't the norm.

Her vaguely remembering the plot is so in line with the story one could almost think the devs thought about it!

Thank you for an excellent Code Vein stream, Shiori! It's so nice to see your more expressive model again! Really cool seeing the Novelites playing games with you again. It was fun seeing some of them helping you along, and some of them getting completely lost wondering around aimlessly. The trenches seemed like a rough time trying to navigate around in, and I can only imagine the joys of trying to go through the Cathedral level. Best of luck when you get to it. I played the demo for this game years ago and really liked what I had played, even bought the full game on deep sale one year, but completely forgot I had it until recently. My initial impressions of the game were a more forgiving Soulslike that emphasizes having a buddy along, be they a npc or a real player, and it seems like that is exactly what it is, from what I've seen. The game looks like a blast to play with others, even if neither player knows what they're doing. I really dig the character and monster designs that this game has going on, and it makes me look forward to what else this game has in store for both. I look forward to the continuation of this series. If the events of today are any indication, it's going to be a great one! I hope your time off was at least somewhat relaxing, at least it seems to have helped with your voice. Take care till next time!

I’m not familiar with the story of Code Vein, but my younger sibling played it and enjoyed it. I’m glad I could follow the story through these streams. Honestly, that rifle weapon you used looked really cool—a unique and impressive style.

Great vod to kick off the week! It's been a few years since I last played Code Vein, and it brought back many memories. It also got me really excited to watch you play. Today's vods had me laughing nonstop—like Lui being the next Inori, especially considering how many times you told him to shut up and how often he was getting beat up, which was hilarious. The funniest moment had to be when you were playing with the Novelites, and seeing my friends Solar, Mono, and Kaizen fail to help was priceless—I'm going to scold them on Discord the next time I see them in VC. Thank you for the stream, Shiori! There were so many cool moments and also hilarious ones. I was laughing a lot during the crazy escape to the mistle while followed by so many strong enemies in the city. Louis tried his best and I'm sure he's a good companion, I'm just too used to either Yakumo or Jack You did great during that first boss fight already! Can't wait to see more Shiori adventures, I really loved this game. I am very attached to all the characters, all their stories are so sad and it makes me want to help and protect them! It's one of those rare fictional operas that I struggle to choose a favorite, usually I just focus mostly on a single faction or a couple of characters. It's a rare thing to me to enjoy the whole cast but it's absolutely a treat whenever it happens. It really feels like a big big family where people help each other at the hideout with all the allies idling in there, to me.
