Welcome to Week in Review, famous across Gavis Bettel World! What can I get you for? Learning the usage behind words, classifying characters in media and the different levels of monster design, uncovering the hidden, somewhat terrifying secrets of milk or would you rather cast your lot with jellybeans Russian roulette style? We've something tailored to everybody's tastes so do not be shy! Also Bandai Namco is there! Been a hot minute since we've had a good old chit chat, it derailed as quickly as one would expect and love it! People come and go, it's reassuring to know no one is ever forgotten in this tent. One of the reasons it feels so much like home. And while influencer might not be the most fitting term, it suffices to say you have had an incredibly positive impact on us. Personally speaking, just by seeing you stream my day gets better. No matter what has ticked me off in the day beforehand, my worries melt away and it keeps my sanity intact. Having been here for almost 3 years, watching you grow has been nothing short of awe inspiring. It makes me want to better myself too in order to become the best version of myself I can possibly be, it sparked my creativity and it pushes me forward on my own path. Call it sappy or cheesy as I am wont to fall into that easily and I apologize for that but finding you as my kamioshi has rekindled my love for life. I've genuinely never been this happy ever before. It feel almost surreal! But surrounded by friends who I hold dear, a community and kamioshi I hold close to my heart, the horrors I used to face practically disappeared as time progressed. They're not gone entirely, they persist yet even in the face of all that bleakness I can keep smiling. You've taught me not to give up and that no dream is impossible to achieve! Going so far as to even making me want to get into learning how to record covers because you've also brought back my love for music as well as singing (it looks overwhelming but I'd love to give it a shot!). So, to sum it all up: Thank you. I'm eternally grateful I stumbled my way into this tent and chose you as my oshi. Either way, it was lovely seeing Krista from Bandai amongst the ranks of Bettelion again! With friends in tow, near deciphering each individual typing style and attributing them to the members. All the game name drops came in handy, Krista has mastered the art of the bit and I hope she can lend a hand with the fishing game! Being fueled by caffeine, we delved into matters of words before moving onto other topics, I love how we discussed different aspects of what categorizes a character! It reminds me how everyone has a favorite and reasons for liking then. Shoutout to Renoir, Verso and Gustave from Expedition 33 for this one, good taste! Will also keep the JW documentary in mind if I can watch it, a look behind the scenes in movie making is a real treat because so much work goes into each step! The levels of monster design however are a horse of a different color, the scale from human to unrecognizable entity of horror ranges wide I've learned! And what would Week in Review be without our educational section! Today's subject: Milk. Whether in various colors or otherwise produced, it is a powerful drink. Core memory unlocked because not only have I seen countless of those hard candy making videos where they string the mass across the whole room and smack it on the counters, I live the reality of having been into shops where I saw the process live! It's something else, like art. It looks fun as heck but it's quite physically exhausting unless you possess the strength. Still, the candy tastes amazing! And if eating Jellybeans is a test by Lady Luck, I shall gladly take it because I love them. On the topic of Christmas, for me it's always been about this reflective feeling and the warmth you feel smelling cinnamon, gingerbread or roasted chestnuts amongst other things when strolling the markets. Magical and irreplacable to me. Which brings me to something brough up a little after: cold air and slipping on ice. Nothing is better to me than crisp air during the colder seasons, one of the most energizing things to me. And living near the Alps in Germany, we used to have lots of snow to the point streets froze over. Back when I was small and walked to elementary school, even a five minute walk could end in falling flat on your nose because you didn't walk down the incline carefully enough. In that regard, with you fully on cold cars they're more like freezing tombs. With traveling, getting stuck abroad right as Covid hit and catching it so many times must've been rough... Pretending to be sick feels like a universal experience for any kid, who wouldn't want to stay home longer to play games?
