Then I had to step away for a bit and the subtitles were gone. If it was a problem with the translator, I hope you manage to sort it out 🤞 Since talk eventually veered to pencils, I have a funny little story to share: for the JLPT test last month, I had to go out and purchase pencils. There were none at home that I could use for the test! I mostly use mechanical pencils for all sorts of notes and drafts. Even for studying Japanese, my writing tool of choice is a Pentel Sharp P209 in 0.9mm with HB or B grade lead. It feels great on the paper, even for somewhat complex kanji. And another bit of trivia: the standard optical reading ("Scantron") sheets in Brazil, are required to be filled not with pencil graphite, but with pen ink. So you have to be very very careful about what answers you mark on the answers sheet. Cheers to Bukki for another entertaining performance 👏 I really enjoyed the cameo.
