Week in Reviews are a staple in the Bettel household, best way to start your week! And they're an educational experience at times, you never know what new knowledge you will learn today! Slap it around and find out! Meant that in a very positive sense by the way, nothing like expanding your horizons! Briefly exchanging pleasantries with a good old howdy, we had the *_world premiere_* of what could potentially be the worst or best of weeks! That clip comes in so handy for laughs, I do hope we will see that used maybe not every stream but more often! It's hilarious and I couldn't get over Tokimane wondering whether it was alright to use when it was, in fact, you own voice but edited to fit the situation. Genius audio editing done on your part, hats off to that! If there is an Elder Scrolls Oblivion remake coming, I would love to see Slaaaaaahn make a comeback for a full playthrough of it! Still remember that one stream of the arena battles of Sir Slaughter and his companion Porkchop like it was yesterday, he won by simply standing around. Menacingly. Slaaaaahn was a hero of heroes! And those videos of the NPC lines are a goldmine, them running around shouting stuff such as "Stop right there, criminal scum!" is peak comedy. And I can about picture what it must look like running around in the castle city in the game, ending everyone and storming the tower for magic shenanigans. Can't ever go wrong with a bit of causing problems on purpose in video games! Most fun part sometimes, no doubt. Memes have changed so drastically over the years, it shifted from these well crafted inside jokes from across websites to whatever we have nowadays with those face jumpscares playing alongside music. Makes you miss the old times of when you got stick bugged for instance. You made a great point in that regard about brainrot ruining us or the fact that in order to escape the horrors of the everyday world, you'd have to migrate into a bunker and sit in a corner playing Monopoly or any other board game or somesuch. The story about the man at the gym made me freeze at first, it gives you the creeps when you feel eyes bore into your back but glad I was proven wrong and that he gave you such a sweet compliment for your tenacity on your gym training! Receiving those can turn a whole day around, you end up feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside. c: Sometimes there is a different air about days, people reciprocate your own positivity! It makes sense people would describe you as polite, you have it down to a T being as kind as you are! Girl Scout cookie season being upon us once more is such a blast from the past, 2023 was the year of wolfing those down with a sip of Brisk. Which I will keep in mind to try should I ever return to Elysiumerica, it sounds right up my alley as a sweet tooth! Cracked open lips are the worst too, one bite of any kind of food and you're done for. In terms of nuts and the educational part of the stream that followed, taste really does vary from person to person! Almonds are a godsent on pastries and baked goods, overall more of a salted cashews fan myself and with you on pistachios being better as a flavor enhancer rather than a standalone ingredient/nut, same goes for hazelnuts carrying Kinder Bueno. As an avid enjoyer of silly jokes, the who fruit turning into "Who asked?" one gave me such a good chuckle! Fascinating how the world works though, isn't it? Learning new facts together opens up endless possibilities and I love that in particular! The process of gathering cashews from the fruit is quite the extensive one, well worth looking into it if you're curious since they need to be separated from the fruit and dried in the sun. Agriculture with our jester expanded further, asparagus is grown deeper in soil! White asparagus is pretty popular here in Germany, normally you harvest it by cutting the spears at the base before pulling it up. Seeds have existed for such a long time that humans have decided to cultivate specific once after a lot of trial and error of seeing which ones had more favorable traits in terms of consumption. Interesting how that brought us to a name discussion of why an anteater is named the way it is and making up The Eater. I couldn't with how funny that was, gave me the impression of some primal entity amongst creatures and named thus by ants from ancient scriptures or a prophecy foretold by the gods. On another note not having confidence in your voice happens, off days exist where you aren't happy with how you sound but you should be proud of how confident your singing has become! It's like a siren calling to you, pulling you in with those enchanting tones and your Kiri cover is a testament to your skill. Such a beautiful cover, it makes me cry each time and I'm not even kidding when I type this. Also solid advice on going about your life day by day, that way you can desl with whatever comes your way more easily and you needn't stress about the distant future as much! Either way, the little lore refresher was great and I suppose Phantom is our mother now? And we are adopted since we plopped out of his zipper? I would never have guessed. Crazy to think they've been around for most of your career, they sure grow up fast. We arrived at the thought provoking part of the stream with the whole milkshake and soup debate, it all boils down to preference. Reasonable to assume you would drink liquid soup and eat ones with ingredients in them, same principle applicable to milkshakes when they're more solid. "Slap it around" to describe the process of putting ice cream in your mouth, making it slowly melt enough to consume it is the most beautiful description I have ever heard as a person who bites down on it. Language is truly outstanding and transcends barriers. Adding food cravings people feel at times on top of that talk, extending it to potentially cooking babies in an oven for too long and creating a one viewer andy for Twobert hurt my sides from laughing. Peak of hilarity! We have a banger weel incoming with Balatro, Mario Sunshine, Dark Souls 3, more commissions and ending it in the long awaited Halo marathon for Sibling Sunday! Extra hyped for all of these, my thanks to your our Graglord for saying Mario Sunshine would make be more for you. It's one of my absolute faves from my childhood so I'm looking forward to that and another Soulslike run for the history books!
