I recommend turning on forcefeedback to get a feeling how much you want to turn. only break when line is red, until its green then turn and maybe gas -the whispers

The wheels lock up when you hit the breaks fully so you end up sliding forward or something

the area before a turn is called the breaking zone, before you reach the full turn you slow down (use the green arrows to get an idea of how fast) as you turn ease up on the break and apply gas. GL CC

another tip: slip streaming- driving behind another car to lower your air resistance letting you get closer to eventually pass them.

When following another car, you have to remember to add the length of that car to the red/orange braking area so you don't hit them & break your car,
