Speaking from experience myself, it happens to the best of us, and Shiori was very sweet chatting with us in the meantime. I hope that you at least got good rest, and that you may be able to rest better in the future. For the movie! It was pretty amusing going in knowing Shiori had beef with this film, and seeing it unfold in moments lol. ESPECIALLY with Irene wow lmao. I didn't expect her to have so much beef with her. At the very least, I like to think that she enjoyed a few moments here and there, and especially spending some time watching with you and sharing some of the main Sherlock Holmes canon. 🤍🖤 As for me, like you I dont have much background with the Holmes stories. My only exposure is this one playthrough of a game involving him that Shiori played. So at least to me, I thought it was fun. I liked Holmes and Watson, and I thought the action was cool. So honestly I didn't mind it. I am curious to see how much this movie is different from the books, and maybe I'll get around to reading them someday. Anyways, thanks again for a fun and lovely night! The romance with Irene was a typical placement of Hollywood Tropes. While Lord Blackwood was a cumbersome villain, my mind curiously ponders on Professor Morarity's Criminality instead!
