Even knowing it, the big plot twist gets me every time and I'm glad IRyS enjoyed it and is theorizing about it! It makes the entire journey feel much more complete. Seeing Maelle reuniting with Gustave's sister and apprentices really made me tear up, that was a beautiful scene! But then everyone getting gommage was a shock, even Maelle and the others?! Well, I didn't think the story would end in a straight up happy ending, but I certainly did not expect the big twist about the world and everything else . It really changes my perspective on everything that happened in the game before the big twist, and I'm not sure I understand exactly why everything happened how it did. You continue to leave me speechless in your gaming prowess, the way you handled the bosses when new mechanics appeared, even on some of them I know I would've just stood there and get 1 shotted, while you pulled off a perfect parry it was incredible to witness , Once we learned of the painting world, it all started to make a ton more sense, from how they keep the population going to why Esquie and Monoco like twostave even if he's not the original, it was funny to learn that it all comes down to just their family being toxic as heck, I feel kinda bad for virtual twostave now, but still can't replace Gustave.
