A lot of people were confused by the finale, but to put it plain and simple: 1. Fuli ONLY exists at the end of time, as to be the pinnacle of the concept of Remembrance, you need to be the thing in the universe that remembers everything. 2. Cyrene as the core of Amphoreus was already spreading her existence out into the world when she intertwines her fate with Irontomb as Irontomb had already spread its presence across the entire universe 3. If Cyrene emanates to the entire universe and ascends to become Fuli, the entire universe stops existing because Fuli only exists at the end of time. 4. As painful as it is to see herself go, she decides to become a bookmark in time for just Amphoreus, to keep the memories of Amphoreus solidified so that she doesn't ascend and literally *STOP* everyone. Rather than be the end of all time, she becomes the end of Amphoreus and sends herself back to the beginning (like how Fuli operates). If she chooses to move forward, she can delay her ascension for a time... but it will be inevitable. 5. Her sacrifice is what allows the epic tales of the Amphoreans to keep existing into the future, which is what she wanted so that humanity can stay inspired against the looming future of the Destruction. and to finally give them all infinitesimal chance at living normal lives rather than eternal suffering. 6. We can now tell their epic by distributing it as a novel throughout the IPC network, the more people are touched by its story, the more potential Amphoreus has a chance at becoming a realized planet. 7? If we can get works of fiction to become reality, perhaps we can get some sort of nod to the Flamechasers in Planarcadia (the world where fictional beings become alive) Or, now that the universe has conceptualized the Flamechasers as real potential people, they can have SPs on different planets in the long unforeseeable future (like how Acheron confirms that she's seen multiple version of her old friends on different worlds along her travels; personally holding out hope for adult unified Tribios or maybe a Knights of Beauty Aglaea [we really need another Knight tbh, poor Argenti]).
