Maybe one day, there will be a digital version of the card game so even regions where they are hard to come by can play the card game!

In hindsight, it makes so much sense that they could just ask one of the talents to make a tutorial vid for the TCG and it'd be an instant hit that I'm surprised it's only done now, Wawa being a proactively entrepeneurial as usual

if you know ptcg, you will know most of the hocg rules: debut = basic pokemon 1st = level 1 pokemon 2nd = level 2 pokemon cheer = energy SP oshi skill = VMax power back position = bench archive = discard performance = attack baton pass = retreat staff = trainer etc

This game sounds like a lot of fun, but It very clearly combines core elements from PTCG(evolving, energy, etc.) and OPTCG(Oshi as captain, resting a character) together, which is not a bad thing in my opinion. None the less, I think if this is handled properly(Good card balance, multiple deck options, Updates on the game itself, etc.) and when it thrives, I think this will be a very fun TCG to try out, play and enjoy it
