On the topic of discovering things in games, the only thing I can think about is FFXIV where, if you complete certain raids/events, you'll find NPC's wandering in the world that you can't track. I did one recently and was so very surprised that two NPCs were showing up in different areas, areas that they had no connection to. I can't think of anything else so I'm sorry it's XIV per usual. But this was such a soothing stream. <3
