While I've never had an injury of that sort myself, dealing with broken bones or even just a sprained one is a figurative and literal pain and I do not wish that upon anybody. What did sound like a wild ride where the 4 am video watchalong competitions you and Bob did to see who would look away first, that's peak cursed hours activities! Dreams when you were a kid vs. dreams when you're an adult differ so incredibly in content, the former were about meeting your favorite characters or gaining superpowers like shooting lasers out of your eyes and the latter are just existential dread supreme. The melody is catchy with the beat going under your skin and no matter how often I hear it, it gets more and more addicting with each go-round! No exaggeration when I say I need it injected straight into my veins and projected under my eyelids. New favorite cover of yours from all your release for sure, you killed it!! Going against the tide of chasing popular song trends to choosing something you can identify with and like shows, you found your voice in a single strike with this! It's easy to tell the difference with that in mind, you made it your own playing around with your voice to create longer, shifting tones or different intonations! An important aspect of singing to me is what you mentioned afterwards, that it shouldn't be static and instead filled with the emotions from each new line sung. Something you encapsulate perfectly, making the raw emotion and power all the more impactful - it touches both singer and listener and evokes something in them, stirring the soul! When you spoke about nearly quitting singing, saying you reached a point where going forward felt impossible but you pushed forward against all odds thanks to everyone's encouragement and support, that struck something in me. I'm so glad you never gave up, continue to work hard and spoil us rotten with your angelic vocals. Genuinely, your voice is one of a kind beautiful and the world would've suffered a terrible loss should you have stopped sharing it. Honestly, I feel shy sharing this whenever I type it but your singing is my favorite in the whole world. You putting all of that emotion, that power into every word sung is one of the most inspiring things to me about you and you made me want to push myself in order to be like you. You gave me a love for singing I never knee I had. That on the side, though. Keep spreading your wings and fly, angel of music! Conceptually, love the interpretation of the covers being this message of continuation towards hope and One Reason as well as Last Game telling a story of climbing and fighting an internal struggle to beat the shadows haunting you and reach (a sort of unattainable) perfectionism until it all leads to a better tomorrow through Twobert's guiding hand in Perfect Gold. Whenever I tried to break apart the lore, I'd taken it a touch too literal so the explanation here was very insightful and puts perspectives into a different light!
