Edit/P.S.: The Director is referred to with male nouns in a lot of review media and fans, it is tied to some heavy story points so careful of chat unintentionally well meaningly spoiling stuff. The dev team does have a mini character profile, but it has some spoilers so I'm going to suggest checking it out after the game.
