She'll likely not see this but The reason the animals fought Dante was cause they wanted to die, when Vergil split himself the nightmares from when he was Nelo Angelo also took form as the servants of Mundus, Griffon, Nightmare, Shadow, and also Phantom(that one is explained in a comic), when V and Urizen fused back together the nightmares did not acompany them, they are literal representations of Vergil's trauma, and when they died Vergil finally freed himself, aka moved on, from the trauma. For as much as Griffon trash talk all 3 of them were loyal to Vergil to the end.

I really hope Calli check Vergil mode to the end. Not only it's fun to control Vergil, not only it would be a nice wrap up of the series, but it's also worth for its ending section.

1. The Malet Island Trio knew they had no shot against Dante. But their other options were to either return to Vergil's mind to torment him or slowly disintegrate into nothing. They decided to go out swinging 2. The two thrusters on Vergil's forearms are actually the true form of The Yamato. Devil Sword Vergil if you will... 3. I love that Nero's DT is a literal Dark Angel/Nero Angelo, turning Vergil's trauma into the symbol of his redemption. Him giving that book to Nero is also a promise he and Nero WILL meet again

Fun fact: The reason Vergil acts more chill at the end of this game compared to past portrayals is because, thanks to V's character development, he's basically gone through therapy. The Visions of V manga provides a lot of extra context.

Notice that V says that all he ever wanted was to be protected and loved, the true source of Vergil's bitterness, and he opens up about it to Nero of all people. What does Nero do in the end? Put himself on the line to protect his father and uncle from killing each other, declaring they aren't dying and it's his will doing it. Vergil got all he ever wanted from his own son.....someone that cares about his life. Dante did too but the bitterness of being the one Eva protected got in the way. Nero was so badly needed for these two, hopefully in any DMC6 he'll get to meet Patty too and learn a little more about his dear ol uncle.

I'm going to give Mori some genuine credit for actually taking time to practice combos in the void. That's a lot more effort being put into getting better at the game than most vtubers would want to expend. Good job Reaper!

1st as DMC veteran and a DEADBEAT I am super proud of you, you were beyond amazing throughout the series and better than 80% of any of us at 1st time. 2) don't feel bad about the final fight because CHAT unironically accidentally SABOTAGED it. (you are not supposed to BUSTER or SNATCH at all unless he is completely stunned and staying in place or falling mid air after air combo, you are supposed to let him finish his combo then immediately attack with sword even if he is in DT) TLDR. you were amazing and the last fight was genuinely chat's fault

Congratulations on beating the series, I am happy you enjoyed it. If you ever get get the confidence to do a DMD playthrough I would love to watch it. So I would say your main problems are sight related like depth perception and missing attacks and not dodging either because you can't notice the frames when the enemy is going to attack or you are greedy and overcommit, the later happens a lot (enemy step is good for this because it allows to jump on the boss and evade if you already used your air hike). I don't know if you can get better contacts or something. You also just throw yourself at enemies a lot when they are attacking like with the chicken boss multiple jump attack and tackle/rush and when you were fighting Vergil you keep teleporting, teleporting isn't bad but most of the time you couldn't react if Vergil decided to attack at the same time. For Vergil, you need to be reactive, evade and punish his attacks, most bosses can be beaten like this (You can steal his turn but that's something for really experienced people). You also didn't have to air combo you could just attack him in the ground. If you don't know when to attack him when he is in DT, use quick and strong moves like Stinger, High Time and Helm Breaker and get out before he attacks again, sometimes combos leave you open. Nero's basics are exceeding (revving your sword) and charging his gun, especially exceeding which gives your attacks more damage (even one bar makes a difference in damage so you don't have to always Max-Act, maybe watch a video to get an idea of the timings). You shouldn't have both gun and exceed on the same side of the controller because you end up using neither, I would put exceed on the right side with the attack buttons (so you time your fingers with the attack and exceed buttons) and gun on the left side. About the arms, you should never destroy the arms manually because it is a waste, you should overcharge the arms and use their breakage move, don't be afraid to run out of arms because Nero isn't weak and has other sources of damage like I said. About busters, you can only bust on strong enemies and bosses when they are stunned and when bosses do certain moves just like in DMC4. Some examples are Equidna (the She-Viper in 4) when she rushes you, Sanctus in the final battle when he does the final move and Vergil when he dive bombs. Alternatively, when you stun a boss is also a safe time to overcharge your arms. Btw, if you do Vergil's fight again with Nero you won't have infinite DT just so you know, practice makes perfect so be discouraged. Dante basics are style switching for certain situations like Trickster teleport when you push an enemy away with stinger, Royalguard for difficult moves like AOEs and Jugdement Cuts (Royalguard is difficult to time but in 5 it's easier and you can block somewhat, don't be afraid to try because you aren't bad at parrying as seen in E33) and using Swordmaster regular moves for damage and huge moves like Real Impact when Urizen gets on his knees. Honestly defaulting to swordmaster is not bad if you can't keep up with it, I still have difficulty coordinating style switching and I have beaten DMD. The other thing is weapon switching to combo and that some enemies are easier to deal with certain weapons, some weapons are stronger than others like Balrog but are less versatile. Sorry for the yap fest, hope this helps and you didn't find it annoying.

Congrats on beating DMC5. The last hours of this game are a wild ride. The way it ends is left open-ended, but I get the impression the devs felt this was satisfactory enough. Dante & Vergil are finally reunited, and the torch was passed down to Nero for him to protect humanity. I remember Itsuno in a recent interview talking about how he felt he did everything he wanted with DMC5. While he doesnt work at Capcom anymore, it ponders the question of where to go from here. I'm happy you managed to not spoil yourself on the big reveals, as obvious as they might have been to predict. Many of us kinda already got the feeling that Nero was Vergil's son back in DMC4, it was nice to see that finally acknowledged in 5.
