Good point at the end about dogs not standing up. Of all the dog pokemon, the ONLY one to start quadrapedal and turn bipedal, is Lycanroc Midnight form. So one single pokemon, that evolves into 3 forms where 2 of them are still quadrapedal and only one is bipedal. Other bipedal dogs are either single evos (Smeargle, Okidogi) or start on 2 legs from the start (Snubbull/Granbull, Riolu/Lucario if you count them as dogs). This COULD be seen as reassuring, but also they could be like "Hmm we never do this, time to try something different" LMAO
