I also grew up listening to utaite, and although the internet is a vast space, it felt like not many people in the west knew much about them back when they were mainly on NND. [4:05:44] — vod qotd: it's actually really terrifying because i feel like ive spent the last few months with my energy mostly down and just surviving each day ... with that in mind, i think my main new years resolution is to somehow manage my energy better so i can tend to my work, studies, relationships, hobbies, health, etc without having to really sacrifice the other TT i also thanku for always accompanying us! its never draining being in the nest - it feels like my tiny escape from hectic stuff - and i really appreciate both yours and the hakkitos' presence happy early new years! hoping 2026 is kinder to us all 💜

Finally got some time to catch up on this vod for the parts I wasn't here for and... 1:16:10 (when you start rattling off utaite names) it floors me that I'm hearing all these names I was into back in the day (clear, gero (THE GOAT), sekihan, piko etc etc) but you didn't name kogeinu, gom, tourai/minatoP, choucho, nayuta and so on lol. There's so many out there and yet there's some serious overlap in the ones that I listened to and the ones you were/are still into. Making me remember I also still have a piapro account LMAO but I'm a little sad they allow AI generated works on there :x VQOTD: New years resolutions/goals: - My primary goal is to gain confidence in myself as a person. I've gone through a lot in the last couple decades that I'm still trying to fix and it destroyed my confidence. Please have patience with me ;w; - My next goal is to maybe get a cover recorded sometime this year. I hate the way my voice sounds and I want to improve first so there will be a lot of practicing happening on my end whenever I can get the time to myself without roommates around. - Third, I want to draw more/better. When I quit many years ago (due to said events that destroyed me) I told myself I'd never go back and well... HERE I AM AGAIN. Go figure. - Survive a meet and greet with Hakka. (This might not happen this year if they don't give you those online M&Gs lol) I feel like I'd probably cry, and I don't want you to hear me get all gross and sobby. I'm already self conscious enough about my voice as it is, and it's worse when I cry.
