Glad to hear the break did some good! as far as the VOD question goes, that's pretty tricky, actually. I'd probably...add some kind of character action/action-rpg layer to a citybuilder, probably. Or vice-versa. I'm not sure what that kind of mod would look like in action though, since that goes a fair bit beyond total conversion

VOD Question: The strange thing is that I can't really think of a game that I would try and mod like that (at least, none that no one else had mentioned). Instead, I wanna talk about a game franchise that actually DID reuse their own assets to make different games for different genres: Yugioh. Sure, nowadays, all the games are nothing but dueling sims. But back during the OG Yugioh days, they'd use those same assets and go down different genres. They made an SRPG and a TTRPG out of it. They did a weird ass chess hybrid with it. And all through reusing assets among all of these games. It was actually pretty peak. I kinda wish they'd go back to doing stuff like this, especially with all the new cards out.

It is great to have you back! However, it was nice opportunity to give my time to others who participated in VCraft and see different perspectives. As well as see what're like after VCraft. Anyway, I hope you're refreshed! ------------ RE: VoD Question: How would I Mod a game to make it a different genre.. I was almost stuck on this idea until I remembered a fan event I participated in AC6. This was a racing event! For those who haven't played it, Armored Core is a 3rd person mecha action shooter. We tested, set boundaries and agreed upon some rules as well as some builds that we considered fair use. You could only use two weapons based on your faction's mech "racer". Admittedly, this idea is much like IGPX - if you've ever seen that anime. I would go back to AC4 and mod that to be a racing game (if I could get multiplayer to work). That game has "super boost" sections, which could maybe be implemented like a power-up(?). At base speeds you're already very fast. Super boosts are almost overkill. And with the weapons, it would become a chaotic racing game. Making tracks would be most of the fun.

THANK YOU FOR STREAM !! i was suuuuper super productive during your break (not a lie) and i toooootally didn't miss you while you were gone (maybe probably a lie) for the VOD question: i used to play dead by daylight super regularly, like 5 hours/day every day type of regular, but due to moving to a place with farm internet (and also the state of the game being. Not Great At All, Actually), i haven't played in over a year. i miss the gameplay a little bit, but there was also a huge amount of lore in DBD that could go into a single player story game (like silent hill or resident evil, which they do have licenses for funnily enough), or an rpg game similar to baldur's gate 3 where you make a character that is trying to escape the entity's realm and you can diverge on different paths that can either end in a successful escape, becoming a killer, or succumbing to the void. i don't think that's easily moddable into a game, so it would probably have to be 100% from scratch using DBD assets

I'm on my knees begging please please please a long Silksong stream!🥺🥺🥺 Hades2 also full released and the last time you played they didn't even have some of the zones, or the pets, and some of the weapons. So there is lots of new stuff for you to see! Lol hearing you talk about your meh on shipping, and me over here being like, does it have romance, cause if yes I'll play it. It's how i got tricked into playing Mass Effect in spite of preferring fantasy over science fiction. Than it became one of my favorite game series of all time. Also how I ended up playing Cyberpunk kekeke. Vampires are definitely great, and I love them. Interview with the vampire of course is classic (and has the best costuming of any movie ever, Ruffled v neck men's blouses with sleeve gussets need to come back!), but Van Helsing was also great especially loved dracula's brides in it. I thought the twilight books were okay but i hated the movies. Yes Fright Night is so good! One of the few well written ones that's also funny! Dracula Dead and Loving it is hilarious very kooky style humor. I can't wait to hear your reaction to all the vampyr movies.🧛‍♀ Yesss Holomarches! Jowol has been bringing it up how much he wants to play more whenever dnd gets mentioned. Of course I'm stoked for literally any tabletop content you do. Trial. So, I think, if a randomized culprit mechanic like the one in Lost Dimension was a part of it, it would've kept the gameplay loop interesting and not so tedious when you do replay them and inevitably forget how the logic systems of those games work after being stuck on a trial for more than 3 hours. My brain goes so numb when playing those segments for so long, so even a small dose of variety would be so welcome in these types of whodunnit games! And! I think it could've been really neat to see how each trial would've gone if the culprit was someone different, essentially to see how the writers would've made it so character X ended up doing the thing they do and the motive behind it vs. how character Z would've been written in another play through or maybe even them being the culprit for another case (idk lol i hope i explained this well 😭)

OtsukaRuze💢 ,welcome back, Ruze and I'm glad you had a good time while you were on your break as for the VOD question, hmm this is a tough question for me but I'll try and answer it,so my answers would be that I would mod Silent Hill and turn it into a turn based RPG something similar to Fear & Hunger or a real time acton RPG like Parasite Eve and my other answer is I would mod a Armoured Core game and turn it into a Megaman Battle Network style game with elements of Slay the Spire,so yeah those are my two answers to that question anyways thanks for the zatsu stream, Ruze .

Thank you for stweam Thank you for being back and I'm glad you uh... kinda had fun! I'm so sorry about the negative stuff that's been going on recently, but I guess it is what it is... VOD question: long story short, I never had a chance to play a turn based game in my life until recently and idk, but I hate them 🙃 unbased opinion ik but _shrugs_, so I've never been able to play a Pokemon game in my life and I'd like to change that especifically just turning off the turn based combat system and letting me handle the Pokemons to fight!! I think that would be very cool and very fun and it could be a bit refreshing for the Pokemon franchise... Another idea would be to add more survival dynamics into games like Horizon Zero Dawn or The Witcher or even Zeldas like BOTW so it can put a bit more challenge into traversing these complex worlds and completing missions. Sometimes playing Minecraft I feel like whenever I get full stocked on diamonds there's really not much stuff to do or not many challenges and also in the adventure games you get to the point you're too powerful and there's not really much stopping you from just completing the main quest and ending the game so mixing both could help to make it a longer and more satisfying experience, I guess?? I also want to make a note that I know it's not important and you really shouldn't care about and that's completely fine and normal but- I've been having so much stuff going on both financially and emotionally I guess and I haven't been supporting you or working for the ruzade as I wish, I'm not even chatting a lot on streams and even through I know I'm not like an important input on them, I feel like I'm letting you and/or the ruzaders down... I just want to make sure you know I still love being here and listening to your yappening... I just happen to be very overwhelmed by many stuff...
