1:03:00 Off-side, as far as I know, has 3 major rules: If the player receiving the pass is, at the moment of the pass (when the passer touches the ball to make the pass): -In his own camp (hasnt cross the middle line of the field) -Behind the line of the ball (for example 2 players of the attacking team are past any of the players on the deffending team) -Behind the line of the of the last defender (the most at the back inside the court) In this 3 cases they are not off-side, so if the player receiving the pass doesnt fit any of these cases, they are off-side. As a reminder, the position that matters is the players receiving the pass at the exact time the pass is made, so if the receiver is far ahead after that point, it doesnt matter. There are some other smaller details that define what part of the body makes the line from the last defender and what parts of the body of the receiver being past that count as off-side (afair, any part with which you can score a goal counts but not sure since it has changed time and time again), also some other rules that at some point applied (idk if they still do) where if a player was indirectly participating they could be subjected to off-side too, but I never understood that rule all that well tbh
