A lot of people will say this game is hard because of RNG, but really, it's only part of the truth. The biggest hurdle is actually the knowledge aspect of the game. SO many things to remember with curios, quirks, trinkets, enemy moves, etc.

The vocabulary and the narrators voice is so good, it really elevated the game.

Mori, I applaud your courage going into this game completely blind as I did many years ago. Darkest Dungeon's design philosophy is a hardline lifestyle of chewing up and spitting you out without a care in the world, so you have both my condolences and support in equal measure. I'll do everything in my power to not backseat, but I will leave you with the tutorial's parting message: "Be cautious...but be curious as well." This is one game where knowledge truly is power.

Speed is the most important stat. Pay attention to, and mouse over to check, the icons above your party(and the enemy)health bars. They're really helpful for decision making. When you hover over an enemy it'll tell you all their current stats in the panel on the bottom right. If you do it after you select a move it'll tell you the damage range and it's chance to hit. Stuns are really good.

it was a surprise to hear that this was one of the first game you requested perms for! really seems up your alley with both the style and TTRPG-esque elements so I can see why I lost it at the terrible gambling quirks you rolled up...honestly it would have been kind of funny lol about your concerns on streaming when there's no one else in Holo streaming atm, just remember, there's plenty of VODs for people to check out too! so try not to put too much pressure on yourself on there HAVING to be something, it's appreciated and we can see how much you care, but it's okay to have time to breath to!
