Shadows House; It's about nobles made of soot and their living "dolls" who pose as their "face". It's a gothic/psych horror/mystery where the 2 main girls discover the dark secrets of the mansion.

Talentless Nana, a psychological thriller involving this group of students with powers, and the main girl is secretly a powerless assassin sent to kill them as they're deemed a threat to the world

Bloom into You is a cute yuri involving one girl who can't feel love and wants to know what it's like, and another girl who's never really fallen in love until meeting her. Very cute.

Did you like Madoka? If so you may like Magical Girl Raising Project or Magical Girl Site, both are dark fantasies in a similar vein but are MUCH darker (especially Site), and they fight each other

if youre looking for horror comics/manhaw with creepy visuals i recommend Melvina's Therapy, Gremoryland (both by A. Rasen) , & Nocturne (specifically by Fyyaa123).

Speaking of old anime: Zombie Loan. 2 zombies preserve their un-lives by hunting down other zombies to pay debt. A regular girl who can see they're dead gets roped into helping them. 90s-core.

An obscure one: Violinist of Hameln. Low budget, practically a slideshow at times, maybe too hard a watch for many, but a good dark high fantasy story. There's also a slapstick movie.

My recommendation for fantasy anime is Record of Lodoss War, based on an actual D&D session from the 80's. For horror I suggest Shiki, which is like anime version of 'salems Lot, so lots o' vampires.
