I didn't expect to have this much fun watching a Gran Turismo competition as I've never played the game series before, and this was great . Serrano dominated the competition, but there was plenty of intense moments during the races that made many of the other position fighting interesting. I certainly didn't predict the Spanish sandwich finale

Never thought I'd see Irys and Jimmy Broadbent from the same stream.

Before today I thought that races were all very surface level stuff but the watchalong made me realize how much thought is put into driving in an actual race! From the kinds of tires to use, the timing of maneuvers and pit stops, and of course the amount of skill/luck each driver has to put into each race. It's amazing and the races today were so exciting! Serrano absolutely KILLED it out there!! Thank you for the awesome commentary, IRyS! I loved how engaged you were every step of the way and it definitely made a lot of difference in amping the excitement of the event! I hope you get to do a similar watchalong next year! That was so much fun!! Honestly a lot more that I was expecting as this was the first racing tournament I've watched!! That was intense!! The overtakes were so cool, and seeing the tires and fuel strategies work in real time was exciting! The 0L fuel strategy from Serrano and him overtaking first place being over 5 seconds behind in the last two laps was incredible!! It actually felt like watching Initial D!
