Thanks for the stream! Yesterday I came back home after a long day, sobered up and dead tired from a hangout with friends, and i couldnt catch this live as it would be rude to just pull out earbuds, so i listened to the vod at home one hour later as i usually listen asmr to sleep or else i think too much. This was perfect, I was gone quickly into deep slumber 😴 (only stream on which it's a compliment hahaha) As for the VOD question : I saw FlapJack wonder about rhythm game playing and the potential of nail tapping sounds, as I'm a huge rhythm game player I would def get too invested too fall asleep, but I 100% get the tapping potential. People usually get annoyed when they hear me play without hearing the music and only the tapping, maybe it would be different in an ASMR light. Also I just thought, gentle dices sounds would be good :) DnD yap sesh while handling related objects as a suggestion 🙂‍↕️

otsuruze! we'll slurp brain spaghetti from the nose of random gurt techs next time for the Vod Q, i definitely agree with shinri being an outlier in making horror into cozy/comfy. games like Observation Duty in particular where it's like watching paint dry between jumpscare startles - just watching a bunch of still images or switching between camera feeds of random rooms, checking details, following a list of variables, repeating the same steps over and over just waiting for something to change... attention to miniscule deeply 'acoustic' details until baghoul suddenly pops out of the walls and gets ya never thought i would enjoy long weird hours at the 2am surveillance cam grind but it can be deeply enjoyable with the right presenter!

Thanks for the stream, Ruze! Enjoyed the asmr nelf time I empathize with the ISP frustration. Nothing grinds my gear quite like tech troubles outside my control For vod Q, I don't know! Like you say, life sim or farm/craft or horror lend themselves to asmr and you already did an FPS with Hunt. Maybe there's a music rhythm game or an RPG out there that would lend itself weirdly to ASMR, but I don't have one in mind

Commenting on my third watch of this to fall asleep to, sure to not be my last. I'm just saying, breaking out the 3dio not just to check if it still works would greatly improve my sleep quality. As for recommendations, anything with a chill bgm that you enjoy works for me. I've seen discussion of majoras mask and Zelda definitely fits the bill.

So my answers for the VOD question of the day is well it's no surprise that Monster Hunter can be an unexpected ASMR game but my second answer is surprisingly enough is Farcry 2 has it's quiet moments in between the action and my final answer would be the first Digimon World game for the PlayStation, I used to listen to the background noise in between training up my Digimon when I played the game back then.

otsu ty for the stream we need to boot your isp into the sun vod question: maybe AI: The Somnium Files... it's a lot of vibes but you are investigating murder and between that and all the... shall we say... uchikoshi-isms... might be enough for the "unexpected" part LOL. for a different answer, i've always wondered what asmr would be like with, specifically, rhythm mobile games a la Love Live School Idol Festival (rip) or Ensemble Stars, with the game muted so you just get the sounds of fingers tapping on the notes. most tapping-on-phone asmr is nail tapping so it would be a bit different, and i've always wondered if i looked away from the screen if i would be able to identify a beatmap from just the tapping sounds lol

I think the mostly structured nature of the gameplay loop and the sound design of the stages could potentially lend themselves to a susprisingly nice ASMR experience? Another one would be the Ace Attorney games I think? I've found the dialogue beeps and the sounds (outside of the bgm) in the game to be weirdly satisfying to listen to
