[Sorry, nitpicking. Rival was Green in Japan, because they released Red and Green as games first then later they had an updated version released as Blue. We wound up getting Red and Blue, so to conform, the rival Green became "Blue" in the west. It extends to the Pokemon Special manga, where 'Blue' is a young thief girl, but in the West has her name swapped to Green.]
