This is what Adult Swim meets Japanese work ethics looks like. I can totally see the dynamic of Gigi articulating every silly idea she has and a team of dedicated professionals trying to execute it to it's maximum potential without fully understanding why they are doing it in the first place.

So from what I understand Gigi 3D debut was basically meant to be a bit but staff couldn't understand so it became a high quality and budget bit

Listening to Gigi explain what she wanted / expected in quality just made me think "Good Job, Director-san." This is how you reign in the "creative-types" WITHOUT crushing their whimsy. They put in WAY more thought and effort than she expected and I think the live was great becauae of it, lmao.

I honestly loved the random high quality bits (like the rats and the children’s choir/instrumental), it made the scuffed parts even funnier in contrast

It certainly feels like cover gave Gigi the hologra directer and team with all the antics that were suggested by staff.

I don’t know if was intentional but calli just silently hanging around reminded me of the times a random sims character would end up trapped in my house after a party/ event and my sims just keep up doing they routine, and that npc was just there for days and days, it was really funny for me

Loved how much more ominous Calli hanging around with a knife while her Oshi roleplays being married is now compared to when it was recorded.

This gave off some real DND session vibes throughout, and hearing about the process it's like EXACTLY how some of my sessions as a DM would go. I'd throw absurd plots at my players, they'd throw insane responses back, sometimes you'd get the hardest dialogue or some deeply emotionally resonant series of events but a lot of it is filling in the gaps between point a and point b. Your 3D debut was truly one of a kind, and I'm soooooooooo happy it worked as well as it did.

Learning about the behind the scenes of Gigi’s 3D Live just made me love Gigi and Rissa even more. Rissa's a theater kid, and Gigi's a theater kid at heart. No cuts or second takes, that’s the whole charm and fun of the show.

I don't watch every Gigi stream but I absolutely LOVE her behind the scenes streams. Seeing how her brain works is always so interesting!
