This was my first time experiencing this game and I'm so glad I was able to experience it for the first time with your play through! I really had no idea what the ending to this game would look like and I'm very pleasantly surprised by how it played out. I think this is the first Chilla's Art game where I felt very attached to the world and the characters. Despite the eerie atmosphere, the world felt a bit like home. So seeing the ending to the game just pleased me so much. I've always been a sucker for characters that are more "inhuman" and stories that discuss what humanity really means. When you had to choose between keeping or reverting the curse, I felt so torn because while I felt awful for the humans that were turned into fish, I would've felt worse taking away the humanity that the fish gained. I'm honestly not really sure why I feel that way, because both are tragic scenarios either way. It just moved my heart when the fish merchant expressed how he still had so much more he wanted to accomplish. Despite the fact that the curse didn't grant the fish "complete" humanity, the fish merchant's wish was very very human. My ideal world would've been to give the fish and the humans the choice to live in the form that they wish and to change form at will, but I know that would be a cop out. So I really like the ending as it was. I loved that they learned to live in harmony. This game was very strange in many ways but that's exactly what I loved about it.
