It's really fun watching you play souls games! It's so refreshing to see someone who's having fun with the struggle as opposed to just being salty. I also agree that Undead Burg is confusing. It's easy to forget when you've been through it dozens of times and know where everything is already. It all seems so much more obvious then. When you fight the gargs again, consider going through your items. There may be some stuff you've picked up without thinking that can be of help.
