If u choose Verso, u invalidate the whole purpose of the Expeditions. If you choose Maelle, the Expeditions had their purpose fulfilled but she die.

You could say that each member of the Dessendre family represents each stage of grief. Aline - Denial, Clea - Anger, Maelle/Alicia - Bargaining, Verso - Depression, and Renoir - Acceptance.

Final area and boss seems to be balanced around level 45. If you don't want it to be a complete roflstomp (It's the hypest thing ever IMO) may wanna consider nerfing yourself. Up to you though.
