Yay Satisfactory, I love this game a lot. It's a lot of fun to watch someone new learn the flow of the game, even in multiplayer where the various progress is super speed. I could dump a whole list of recommended tricks and habits I've picked up in 1300 hours on the game, but most would not be too useful so early in the game.

A little advice about snapping, you need to place foundations first, then you can build them on grid. You can put resources in hub partially, no need to prepare a full stack. As for poles I suggest placing multiple nearby, this way you kinda mitigate an issue if having 4 connections. You don't really need that much MK2/3, it's more of a convenience. When you unlock coal the real automation will be started. Also since you unlocked foundations at the end, for the next stream try building on it, it should be more manageable. You can even cover entire floor, rocks, etc. in foundation to make everything squared. And only with foundations you can build multiple floors buildings.

> this feels a lot faster that's fair, but imagine the first time you ever played factorio was jumping into a multiplayer game without doing the tutorial, where all the basic techs were already unlocked and the other people were immediately building stuff and you were like "... what do?" that's pretty much how you started this game but I prefer factorio too, but mostly thanks to the extensive blueprinting+robot construction system, which you haven't even got to yet
