Silent Hill 2 - incredible story, and the remake team did their best to retain as much of the original feel as possible - really hits the feels on things like survivor's guilt, suffering as someone you love is dying, etc. - The remake came out in 2024 so should be easy to setup for streaming - Everyone knows Pyramid Head, but few know why he is the way he is. 2. Silent Hill: Homecoming - story deals with children being given up because of their parents' greed - the fight system is similar to what Silent Hill f does (albeit slower). - Playable on PC. 3. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories - the first and only SH game on the Nintendo Wii (and ported to PS2 and PSP). - a story mixing a mystery character's therapy sessions with gameplay of a man in search of answers. - choices made in therapy affect the memories of the events that the man experiences. Appearances also change. - the Other World is reimagined as an icy maze where you must run to safety or be killed. No action combat. Honorable Mentions. P.T. - a playable demo of what was intended to be "Silent Hills", an SH game made by the legendary Hideo Kojima. - absolutely terrifying, even by the standards of other modern games. (Similar to the game Visage.) - if there was a way to play it, it would easily be doable in one stream. Silent Hill - the one that started it all. it's unplayable by today's standards but... - a story about finding your daughter and discovering she's not who you think - an empty town (save for the monsters) where a cult turned everything upside down - one of the saddest deaths of a character in the series
