If you ever do get behind on your journal, its ok to miss a day or even a couple of weeks! You can always scrap book on those parts later if you really need to. You can also make sure you take tons of pictures that you can print out to put into the journal later!! The fun part is that it doesn't always need to be a formal entry, you can really freestyle and doodle too. It's all great to look back on! I've seen people glue coasters from collab cafes and stuff into their journals. I like to put in prints! Sometimes I just write in big letters what happened to me that week! Like when I was moving! I think the biggest hurdle for new people when journaling is falling off if they get too busy to keep up with it, and then not wanting to pick it up again because they feel like there's no point since they "failed" for the year. But in reality, the journal never judges you and will always patiently wait for you to come back! and all the love put into it before isn't a waste either. It will always be awesome and it'll always be neat to look back on. I think it fits the other things you talked about, too. some is better than nothing. If its something you enjoy doing, then you can do it as you enjoy it!

Ya I love Subnautica series. It has a lot of good themes on flawed futuristic ideals and survival against the world. I beat the 2nd one before the first one lol. I'd rate the original 8.0 and the sequel 9.0. The sequel gets more praise because its more of the first but exploring the land is more manageable and the creatures are better. I hope you continue with the series. The only reason I found out about it was because of Steam. Like you said NO ONE talked about it for the longest time. Then Steam was all "hey you might like...". It didn't even have a physical release originally.
